Wingnut 6,998 February 15, 2016 Share February 15, 2016 Who are ya callin' old? And get off my lawn while yer at it ya whippersnappers! I think I'll largely be repeating what I posted in a similar thread. I've enjoyed animation since I was a little colt and when I was your age there was no cable. Instead the three big networks all broadcast cartoons on Saturday morning for our enjoyment. Do I sound old yet? Dagnabbit, we need a Granny Smith avatar. To paraphrase what another elder member said, growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional. No matter how old I get one thing I never want to lose is that childlike sense of wonder. At 44 I'm probably in the top 10% or maybe even 5% of the membership agewise. Even so, there are still plenty of guys and a few women older than I am so I really can't complain. Sure thing, someone's got to change the hearing aid batteries and mash our peas. Exactly.

It's currently being rented out. That's simply fantastic! Very thoughtful and a great use of your very nice salary at 27. Most people would just be dumping it all into fancy toys and then complaining that they have no money (I know someone like that, I want to punch them in the face). We've been living in a family home that my wife bought from her father, and in turn bought out the share from my brother-in-law, in a semi-bad neighborhood, saving money for the last several years, putting most of our money into paying off the mortgage, renovating the house while living in it, and now that our kid is about ready for kindergarten, we're planning to sell the house off, move out of state to a nicer house that's cheaper (TX is way more affordable than NY), and be mortgage free in our 30s! 1 Courtesy of @Sparklefan1234
Knightgem 158 July 22, 2016 Share July 22, 2016 25,single, still under my parents roof and helping out around the house and earning my keep while job searching is super thin at the moment. I have friends ranging from 18 to 63-ish. Age doesn't matter really. This way we can be as young or as old as we want to be. Together. We're all bronies, from all trots of life. As far as I'm concerned, we're all family, diverse in many ways, but also the same in some ways. isn't flashing your riches, it's sharing it with others that don't know how or can't
