To make an antivenom, you'll need to inject a diluted version of the venom into a sheep or a horse, and the animal will create antibodies against it. You must then obtain the antibodies from the animal's blood. Those antibodies you obtain IS the antivenom

 

The process takes quite a while

 

If the poison is lethal, sparkle is very, very screwed

Oh, an JR. Second sight was suggesting making an antivenom similar to that to the platypus's poison. However, I did some research on how antivenoms are made, and second Sight's suggestion is now moot, since you have a surplus of bear poison sample from the splatters on the ground

Not exactly biting. If the animal uses it as a weapon, it's a venom e.g the cobra. But if the animal uses it as a deterrence from predators, it's a poison e.g pufferfish.

 

The bear attacked you and you got poisoned, so it's a venom

Karas bit its lip back a little. It would be a difficult endeavor indeed to find all that they needed. One that would require....a map of some sorts....

 

It suddenly had an idea, "My portable security PDA would show a topographic map of the surrounding area. If we find it, we could at least figure out the area's terrain."

For a PDA to generate a map, you would need to be connected to a satellite above the planet.

 

But we threw all aspects of realism out the window when we decided to make an antivenom without an animal

Second Sight is in a place that looks similar to the deserted wasteland ending of the s5 finale, except with less sand and more dry rock. It's a pretty far distance from the base so don't bother walking.

Well, I'm sorry to say this, but I probably won't be able to continue RP on this. As fun as it is, I've got alot of work coming up this month, and coupled with the fact that I'm a much slower writer than ya'll, I'll be behind by miles 

 

I wish you all a great time, though, and hope the RP continues to be fun for ya
