searching Quest Into Tartarus 2.0: The Chalice of Infinity

Legend tells of a powerful artifact of magic. An artifact that was hidden away in Tartarus. One whose power could increase the strength of anypony who wields it. A magical item so powerful...that those who know what it is have died trying to retrieve it. Now...with the massive outspread of panic and controversy, many ponies have taken sides in order to try and take this artifact.

Some are going in for Princess Celestia of Equestria to keep this item out of the wrong hooves. Others are going in for Tirek to restore him to wreak havoc upon Equestria. There are those who may even seek it for themselves.

 

The Chalice of Infinity. Whoever sips from this shall be granted unbridled power. But the question is: Who?

 

Hi there. JR here with this RP. So, basically, your OC has heard of this chalice and wishes to take it. For what reason? That's for them to decide. All that they must do, is find the Chalice first before anyone else does. Here's how it works:

They hear about it.

They go into Tartarus.
Win.

SImple right? Well, not.

This is because they will have to face many challenges as they persevere through the depths of the netherworld. From zombies, demons, bats, monsters. The works.

 

Not only will your characters have to survive that, they will have to survive...each other. For only ONE pony can succeed in sipping from the chalice. So, let the conflict flames fly! :=:

 

There are 9 depths of Tartarus they will have to pass through, with each depth being worse than the last. It's a race to the finish....

3. Post in parentheses which depth your character is on for all posts.

This is me trying to inch my way back into the pony RP scene...

 

So, what say you about the possibility of my precious Ariel being in on this? While normally she might be too scared to go in, I wouldn't strike out the notion that she would want that power, if only so she might gain the ability to bring herself and her adoptive mother and 'brother' (Nano's a robot yes, but she pretty much grew up with him and considers him family) back to their original timeline once and for all.

 

Her magical talent is also stronger than she gives herself credit for. She could fight, if only for the sake of self-preservation and fear of death. So I think she could survive, at least for a while. (And if I lose the drive to keep going, I can let her get killed off easy lol.)
