Blu Starset 1 February 25, 2016 Share February 25, 2016 So i'm confused, what year or grade level is the cmc and how much is the gap between them and the humane
ponylaces 1,870 February 26, 2016 Share February 26, 2016 CMC: Freshmen (grade 9, year 10) Mane 6: Sophmores or Juniors (grade 10 and 11, year 11 and 12) That's just what I think though. hello
Starlet Harmony 128 March 6, 2016 Share March 6, 2016 Good point... I never really thought about that. I mean, the mane 6 HAVE to be seniors now but in the first EG movie, the CMC should have been way too young to be in high school... but whatever! I don't question ponies! Aurora Glimmer 494 March 6, 2016 Share March 6, 2016 Supposedly, the CMC are around seven or eight years old, so probably second or third graders.
Aurora Glimmer 494 March 6, 2016 Share March 6, 2016 (edited) I assume you're referring to the Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom in the Equestria Girls movies, yes? Aaaah. I thought Ponpon_Twilight was referring to the pony CMC, not the human CMC. Edited March 6, 2016 by SiIver Spoon
ShadowSJG 62 March 6, 2016 Share March 6, 2016 I think they are freshmen, while the mane 6 are seniors
Yoshi89 5,293 March 6, 2016 Share March 6, 2016 The EQG Crusaders are most likely freshmen. I'd estimate the canon Crusaders to be currently in around seventh grade, sixth when the show started since about a year has passed chronologically. ˙ʎpoqʎuɐ ƃuᴉlooɟ ʇou ǝɹ,noʎ 'sᴉɥʇ pɐǝɹ uɐɔ noʎ ɟI
cmarston1 5,959 March 6, 2016 Share March 6, 2016 In EQG I would say that Apple Bloom Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are freshmen in highschool. Which I actually really like the idea of as in the show their story arch consisted of them wanting to earn their cutie marks and understand what they want to do with the rest of their lives and discover what their talents are. While there are now such things as cutie marks in real life or the EQG human world, finding out what kind of career you want to have in the adult world and finding a job that are you are really passionate towards or really good at can be considered a similar journey to finding your special talent in Equestria. I like this idea better than the cutie mark = puberty one. And, like everyone else has been saying, they have to be freshmen. Mane 6 are more likely juniors than seniors because the first two movies can take place in their sophomore year ("These were much more popular in freshmen year" - Rarity) and it makes more sense since not everyone was over what Sunset Shimmer did in the second movie. So the CMC and Mane 6 aren't that far apart in EQ universe? Maybe pony education only has grade + middle school years or something.
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,855 March 7, 2016 Share March 7, 2016 I would say they are in Middle School, around 7-8th grade, but since the films only feature CHS, they are probably Freshman, but I don't think that is the best of ideas. There clearly is a decent amount of age difference between the CMC's and the mane 6, while in EqG, they are shown to only be a couple of years apart. I don't think that is the case in Equestria.
