Ok i think we can all say that SpongeBob season 1-3 was the best and they still hold up today.

And SpongeBob got VERY popular during season 2. But now he still is popular but not as much as he was then.

Ahhhh, Classic Spongebob. Man this brings back so many good memories! Seasons 1-3 and the 1st movie are all instant classics (though the 2nd movie was quite good as well).

 

This was the cartoon that EVERYONE watched back when I was in grade school. Great writing, animation, and voice talent are just some of the reasons why it has stood the test of time. But it was the comedy and witty humor that really shot it to the stratosphere. I can say with absolute confidence that this is the funniest cartoon that I have ever watched. No other show even comes close to the humor of Spongebob and crew (sorry MLP, you are more cute and heartwarming than you are funny  -_-).

<.< >.> I actually like newer Spongebob considerably more. Season 3 in particular was full of really boring episodes. Season 4 really picked up the slack.

 

But I could still be considered a fan since I love all things Spongebob, right?

 

It's my favorite cartoon of all time. I watch it while I'm going to sleep for more than 70% of the year.

I loved Spongebob <3 I should watch it again. Whenever my dog hears the theme song he literally starts howling and crying :| It's very strange. There must be a high pitched note we can't hear.

The first 3 seasons....Those were the absolute glory days of Spongebob. So much amazing subtle humor and I find myself quoting from those episodes time and time again. XD 

 

"Oh no way Spongebob, we're not getting paid to move stuff."

 

"Patrick we're not getting paid at all."

 

"Well that's what I said, we're not getting paid and that's final."

 

"Okay, then we'll just have to paint around all this stuff."

 

"Good, just don't pay me."
