How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: A complete and utter accident.I will be honest here, I never thought to watch something like this in a million years. I was, and still am, a die-hard anime and cartoon fan (mostly anime). I was just flipping through the channels one day and found an odd show called "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" by chance. I was about to flip the channel again when I saw the most hilarious character...who was it you ask? Why our very own Pinkie Pie! The adorable, 4th wall breaking pony that we all know and love. I became so entranced by her antics that I wanted to watch more, and I was hooked from there. It only deepened my obsession when they introduced me to Discord. Now there is no turning back...I am now a Brony for life. Can't say that I'm regretting it too much though. Well, I am an avid reader...seriously, I devoured Harry Potter sized books in less than a day as a kid. Could probably put Twilight Sparkle to shame if I really tried for it...huh, that would actually be a pretty interesting idea if it were possible. Beyond reading, I really like to watch and discuss anime as well. Now on to the juicy bits...the MLP stuff. I have to say, being a fan of two years, I have found some very interesting things. One of my first introductions to the MLP fandom was MLP fan videos. More specifically, some very popular fan made songs. The very first song I was introduced to was about my favorite MLP character......DISCORD!!! Many if not all of you have probably already heard it, but the song's name was Discord the remixed version by The Living Tombstone. I was pretty much hooked from there on in. After that I was introduced to so many other artists like Nowacking and FluffyMixer and now I'm hooked on YouTube......dang it YouTube!!! It was only recently that I have been introduced to MLP fanfiction, mainly FIM Fiction, but I am quickly becoming hooked to that as well. Beyond all that, I have been looking at the severe lack of people who know about me being a Brony (only 1 person knows) and really wanted to find someone I could talk to about the show without being seen as gay, stupid, crazy, etc. I was sooo happy to find out about this site that I immediately made an account. I am still getting used to all of the site controls and things so forgive me if my replies are a bit bare. I realized that, during this entire time I've been on this site, I never thanked any of you for welcoming me to the community, which is why I decided to create this post.
