Technically not a show, but I watched the NFL DraftB)

Andor (season 2, eps 1-3). I love the first season of Andor and consider it among the few Disney Star Wars properties worth watching. But so far I have mixed feelings on season 2. I love the characters and the storylines already set in motion in season 1, but this new season, so anxiously awaited and long in coming should have started out with a much clearer story and a lot less filler. The story arc on Yavin 4 was absurd, with a group of squabbling idiots (whose part in the overall story remains vague at best) deciding, after a long in-fighting standoff , to settle matters with a pitched battle of rock, paper, scissors. I mean, come on, this is Jon Favreau territory here. The rest is hit and miss, with some material decidedly unsuitable for a Star Wars story, presented in a far too graphic manner. The rumors suggest that the middle episode blocks, in the weeks to come, are vastly improved, so I’ll just hope for the best.

Have you gotten to the episode with the TIE Avenger in it?  What of Saw Gerrara's role?  Was the E-wing starfighter in one of the shows?

You aware of the NFL Draft @Dreambiscuit?  Was wondering if you have any thoughts of it.  And wondering what you think of the Cleveland Browns drafting Shedeur Sanders - the son of Deion "Prime Time" Sanders - in the 5th round.

^Spoilers ahead*

The TIE Avenger is there. Saw Gerrera hasn’t shown up yet though, but it’s still early in the season. We should see some interesting stuff when the next three episodes drop this week. I think the E-wing was in season 1.

As far as the NFL draft, I recently watched the movie ‘Draft Day’ but that’s the extent of my familiarity with it. It was a good movie but I don’t follow the draft in real life. I don’t understand football as a rule so I couldn’t comment intelligently. :derpyderp1:

Watched the latest batch of Andor but I'll hold further comment until the rest of the series airs and I can give a more complete review.

The Dragon Prince I think, didn't realise it was meant to be the whole series finale as a whole so I wasn't upset until I looked up discussion online and people are ready to set fire to the studios lol

Aaron fucked up cos the toxic fratboy culture at the workplace making lots of staff leave after S3 doomed this show I think, what an arrogant ass. Such a shame too, it's still one of the most fun fantasy show universes and this is how they treated it???

Okay, I finally finished the last of Andor, season 2. Overall this season was hit and miss, but episodes 10 and 11 were stellar! Too much filler for the show's own good bogged things down this season and I suspect Disney was sticking too many meddling fingers in the pie, as opposed to last season when Andor seemed to fly under their radar. Now I'm going to re-watch Rogue One just to complete the picture.

NBC Nightly News

There's a good reason I'm watching the whole week of this.  It's Lester Holt's final week as the anchorman before he officially:( steps down to take up work on Dateline.

i watched the last episode of shogun today :3 it's a historic fiction adaptation of the early Edo period of Japan in 1600. it follows John Blackthorne, who is loosely based off of William Adams, the first Englishman to reach Japan uwu

i read the book, first, so it doesn't really compare! i liked it, though. while i do recommend reading it, someone who hasn't would probably really enjoy the show :3 the show is lighthearted at times, gritty other times. it doesn't downplay the cultural differences between japan and the rest of the world at the time, either, which i feel adds to it ^~^
