ThatAnonymousPony 133 March 28, 2016 Share March 28, 2016 Aside from Starlight Glimmer being Twilight's student, there's one other thing that I think has high potential for great plot points: the CMC. They got their cutie marks, which happened in the best way possible in my opinion. I'll just summarize why I think that it happened the best possible way: Not only does it link them together, but I feel like the message that I'll summarize as "When they stop worrying about getting their cutie marks, they end up helping other ponies discover their destinies, and spend time with each other while doing it. Isn't that what really matters?" I feel like that's a better message and conclusion to this 5 year quest to get their marks, then if it was just "Oh they tried a million hobbies and eventually found the right one!" I feel like they have great potential to help other ponies in season 6. I really want to see how it goes, since they have always been some of my favourite characters. I hope we can see more of them. And maybe see Diamond Tiara and whether they are friends or not, and how she acts now. I see high potential for CMC related topics. Maybe I'm new to the the whole CMC having their Cutie Marks thing, I mean, but this was a pretty bad idea, I would want the CMC to stay Blank Flanks forever, wouldn't you say so? Now that you've mention it, I kinda doubt it...I don't know if the CMC are gonna stay together or disband. And don't get me wrong, a cutie mark DOES change anypony at all, for example Twist and Sunburst. Well to be fair, I'm not a fan of the CMC with their Cutie Marks. The tree being destroyed, the castle, Rainbow slowly reaching her goal of getting into the Wonderbolts...Do you dislike these? If you do, is it because you think they were handled badly, or would you just prefer the show remain the same, with characters just going on a weekly adventure, and nothing permanently changing? I get that it was entertaining to watch them try to get their cutie marks, but how long do these fillies have to struggle? I would understand if there were no other major changes in the show, but since there were, I don't really see how this is different. Being able to stay as the CMC's AND helping other ponies in the process? That is an amazing win-win and I can't friggin' wait to see this in action. It would go completely against their development, contradict what happened in Crusaders of the Lost mark, make very little sense, and be the first thing in this show to legit make me mad. Unless they had a very, very good reason for it. I really want to know...Why do you think they'd split up, just because they have their cutie marks?
