What the creature said registered into Krittius's head. "Holy F*ck. Um..." Krittius stammered, then he said, "We don't have a leader... I am a teacher, does that work?" Krittius slowly moved around the cage, and found the latch. Eyeing it, Krittius waited for the creature's reply

It withdrew its hand as if it had done something wrong and had a ruler smacked across it. Keeping its eyes always centered on Krittius, he nodded and said, as meekly as a 20 some odd foot long beast could, "I help you, you help me?" Pointing motions included. It seemed the monster had no clue that Krittius was standing in front of his way out of the cage.

"Yeah" Krittius unlocked the cage, and stepped back a little. "Yeah, I'll help you, what is it that you want?" Krittius felt like he was in a dangerous spot, not many outsiders, creatures from outside Undercity, found their way to the city. Then Krittius opened the cage door, and deactivated and sheathed his blade.

The creature stayed in the cage, only glimpsing at the open cage door before explaining, "You want help for stop wrong. I need way for kill poachers," Pointing at himself, "My kind. I want help you help me." His reared stated relaxed as he lowered, and he seemed visibly calmer with the sword sheathed. His patchwork English could use work though.

"I see. Now that dumb*ss b*tch is into that kinda shit. We'll get them back" Krittius groaned, "Alrighty, follow me, I'll get you some things, the first one a dictionary, and second, get you set up." Krittius looked at the big snake-thing. Alrighty... Krittius looked about the spacious room. He then eyed a coup,e of mattresses and pulled them and a couch together. Then he shut the trading doors as to keep out any unwanted eyes.

The creature nodded and slowly, hesitantly left his cage. He only took in the dialogue of this "teacher" fellow, not responding because he only knew what about thirty percent of all those words meant and he could just intuitively tell that this was some sort of agreement. It watched the "teacher" curiously as he went about doing something this creature couldn't possibly comprehend at the moment.

"I'm taking this one," McNair bluntly stated as he sat down on of the beds.

Outside, he could hear lots of cursing, and he could've sworn there was some kind of slithering sound.

"You hear that?" McNair asked Damien.

Whatever was going on seemed strange, but then again, that crazy, human loving fox hung ar here too.

Krittius quickly run up the stairs and past the barracks, and to where the bed linens were stored. He pulled out some extra large sheets, and then returned to the trading garage, spreading the sheets over the two mattresses and a couple pillows on the couch. Then to the snake thing, he said, "This is your bed, sleeping area, capeesh?" Krittius said.

Damien who had been 'wandering' around previously strode into the room. "Heya, You really dust the ceilings around here. Even the spiders don't want to live there anymore." He stopped short as he spied the creature.

"Woah, who brought the talking noodle?" He asked, pointing at it.

@@DarkHaert,

McNair heard Krittius running around down the hall, and he noticed that Damien had wandered off. Was something happening? McNair decided to investigate, and walked off in the direction Krittius had gone.

"Krittius, is something wrong?" McNair called out down the hall.

He rounded a corner, and saw Krittius, Damien, and a giant snake.

"HOLY FUCK!" He exclaimed when he saw it. "WHAT IS THAT?!?!"

"Yo! Damien, McNair, meet... I don't know it's name. Just dropped off by a criminal, kinda like you, Damien." Krittius eyed Damien, before walking over the other side of the trading garage, where a large TV sat dormant, a couple of couches surrounded the television side, and surround sound speakers wear around the couches, in the center of it all laid a coffee table devoid of anything except for a couple boxes of a popular television show in its sixth season, and a couple video game controllers. Motioning for Damien and McNair to join him, Krittius sat down. "What's your angle Damien, I know McNair's, but yours, I'm not sure." Krittius turned on the television to a language channel, just in case the snake knew any of the words. Krittius then proceeded to clean one of his swords, first taking it apart, all the blade sections and springs and sliders, along with the power core. "Touch them, either of you, and I will throw your ass to the Snake guy, in which then I don't know what will happen to you."

Sevelance just idled as "teacher" scrambled around, until Damien strode in and pointed at it, speaking about both speaking and a common pasta, confusing it to the point hissing at the one pointing at it. But it was doing relatively okay until something, pretty big compared to the other two he had seen, came into the room and shouted at him.

It was already agitated by the first one, and now was being verbally berated.

It lifted it's heft off the ground with six of its eight spines, reared back aN roared in retort, it's claws, two other spines ready to strike and it's fangs sliding further out of its gums.

However, it's eyes flicked over to teacher, and wouldn't you know, he didn't mind. And so he calmed himself enough so that when they approached and he had a scream of flickering lights, movements and words placed in front of him he was completely able to lie on his belly and watch and hear the device contently.

The sorcery of civilization.

@@Colenso Rivers,

Even thought it had been distracted by the tv, McNair was still uneasy about the snake. It was understandable that it felt threatened after he yelled at it though.

"Can you speak?" McNair asked as he approached it. "My name is McNair," he said, pointing to himself. "Do you have a name?"

It was a tad uneasy around the human. And moved away from the television and him as he felt his heat approach. It brought itself up on its spines again but this time held itself in a more reserved manner. It looked at the human with wide eyes, until it heard the word name. It knew name, and all things had one. It understood this thing was called, " Miknhere" and so it responded with a meek chirp, "Sevelance..."

Damien was visibly intimidated by the fangs. "Eh, I think I'll go get some fresh air for a while. Call me back if you need me." He called behind him.

The red fox skulked out of the room. 'Why would a criminal drop something like that off at a police station?' He asked himself. 'Ransom?'

"You understood me," chuckled McNair. "That's actually pretty cool. So, you're Sevelance? Nice to meet you. I'm a friend, do you understand that? Friend, buddy, pal, bro. That's Damien, and that's Krittius," McNair pointed to the two.

McNair was glad that it was being friendly. Sevelance seemed like the kind of thing you didn't want to piss off.

It watched closely. But it knew friend as well, and visibly relaxed at the word. All these other words meant a mess of nothing. It looked to the other two, as she said theit names, the very small orangish creature repeating it's name as it left, "Damien", and pointed at teacher while saying, "Krittius, teacher... ahh.."

McNair couldn't help but be a little amazed by Sevelance. He had never seen a creature like it before, and the fact that it could talk just made all the more remarkable.

"So, Sevelance, are you here to join the police?" McNair asked as he went to go sit on the couch with Krittius.

The creature let it's spines fold against its back as it did its equivalent of standing while holding its right hand within its left. It eagerly nodded while while saying, "Yes, yes help teacher-" it seemed upset with itself, shaking it's head and correcting itself, "aaAAH! Krittius, yes."

"Well, I'm glad that you're on our side. I'm also part of the police force, so I help Krittius too," McNair said as he leaned back on the sofa. "Have you ever seen tv before? It's a pretty neat invention, and it's a nice time waster too. You see all kinds of shows on it."

Sevelence listened to Mc'nair until he remembered two very vital things: One, this creature, sitting down now, was boring him. As needless as it was to say, his kind didn't have fangs, claws and poison to loaf about. And even if his Palefade cousins worked well together and spoke a lot, they were isolated. The Dreadweavers rarely spoke to one another, for in learning how to be more hostile, they became also very unreasonably aggressive, and they were consistently exhausted from heat, making them not the most prime of conversationalists. But he had to choke back the urges to roar his frustrating boredom in order to make these civilized creatures like him... That, and for the moment he was being bombarded with so many new things that he was legitimately frightened.

Two: The case that the woman had mentioned before they took him here. "This is your sh**, okay? If they take it from you, it's your problem." His pupils dilated as he remembered and his vision snapped back to his cage, and was drawn to the case next to it. He slithered towards it, away from the talk wasting before kindness or something of the like, and picked it up before bringing it to Krittius and presenting it to him, unceremoniously setting it on the floor in front of him.

Krittius saw the box, and eyed it. "Huh, wonder this is." Then Krittius quickly activated his sword's energy core, and then all the sword's pieces lept together, and the full blade hummed a little bit, but then Krittius deactivated the blade, and it shrank and then Krittius put the small blade into its scabbard and then Krittius clicked open the box.

Sevelance waited patiently, not only excited to have his things back again, but wondering what was in there. It was hard to remember what he had when he was first captured. The anticipation in him built until it fell open and shards of crystal and stone, splintered wood and silver, metallic threads spilled out, onto the floor. His heart sunk, and he sunk low, almost face to face with the contents, scooping a portion into his massive claws, holding them gingerly and looking at them with such confusion, which quickly transformed to sorrow, and then rage. His eyes narrowed as his fangs unleashed themselves again and he picked up the open case, roaring out as he violently hurled the case across the room, breaking the case against the wall and letting the contents  rain down a trail on the flooring.

Krittius guessed that the contents of the case belonged to Severance, and that they had be destroyed. Krittius then thought for a moment. Then he stood up, unbuckled his scabbards and set the currently small blades before Severance. Krittius then said, "Peace," Krittius pointed at the swords, "Yours," Krittius then walked to the other side of the garage, where materials, and where Krittius stored his copies of his weapons in case they had become lost. He strapped the black scabbards on.
