Redwood heard the commotion while she was walking back from Missklang's cell, and figured it was probably Hooligan making a ruckus again.

 

She walked over to his cell and struck the door with her baton to get his attention.

 

"Y'all best be quiet now!" she shouted.

"I done reckon I can't do that partner," Hooligan said, making fun of Redwood's accent, "Imma gonna keep shouting till I get a cell with better bedding and a pool." Hooligan started jumping up and down screaming 'banana pool better beds I demand an attorney.'

Shadow heard the commotion and headed over there. When he saw Hooligan jumping and yelling he sighed and said, 

"Hooligan, how many times do ya have to be in solitary and how many times do I have to tell ya, no attorney's. I don't trust them to play fair. How long as it been since you've been out of solitary?"

"If y'all go makin' fun of me like that and keep makin' a ruckus, y'all are gonna end up playin' 'How long can Redwood water board Hooligan?'," said Redwood.

 

She was a bit frustrated by having to deal with the crazy ones today. Redwood would much rather have to deal with some drug kingpin or bank robber.

"Ooh I love that game. If I'm not mistaken i believe your high score is five hours." Hooligan grinned, "but a mare like you could probably go all night," Hooligan said seductivly before bursting into laughter.

Shadow sighed and said, just for that, you'll be in solitary for the hundredth time. Redwood, you will help the silent guard watch over Missklang until this one relieve you of that. 

 

The silent guard unlocked the door and grabbed Hooligan tightly and started following Shadow to solitary

 

(Shadow lost track of how many times, and I'll be the silent guards.)

"Sir, may ah have permission to shut him up?" Redwood asked Shadow, ignoring Hooligan's comments. "Ah think we'd all be better off if he wasn't runnin' his mouth so much."

 

Redwood had just a bit of frustration at the moment, and she was looking to take it out on something.

Shadow raised a claw and said, 

"No, let's have the silence drive him mad. If you need something to attack, wait for the silent guard to come back, then head to the gym. It's gathering a little dust from not being used in a while."

Nightmare watched the whole thing, then turned to Missklang and said, 

"What did you do to anger Shadow, and why did you do it?"

"Drive me mad?" asked Hooligan with a laugh, "surely you know me well enough to know that I'm already the king of mad," Hooligan smiled as he turned to Redwood. "Don't Iisten to Shadow here, I've been very bad boy and i need to be punished," Hooligan said seductively, trying to make Redwood uncormfertable and annoyed

Despite what Shadow had said, Redwood poked Hooligan in the throat with her baton, hard enough to hurt, but not enough to cause any real damage.

 

"Does that get y'all off?" she asked.

 

Redwood was just a little curious to how far she could take it with Hooligan.

"Oh yeah baby," Hooligan said with a chuckle and a sly grin. He coughed slightly. "Hit me again, only this time don't hold back." Hooligan laughed again, he didn't know if she would hit him again but he hoped that she would. He enjoyed when he could manipulate ponies into anger like this, "go on sweet cheeks give it your best shot."

Redwood knew that she would probably get reprimanded for it, but she was a bit entertained by Hooligan. Redwood cracked her neck before hitting Hooligan right in the back of the knee with more force, although she still held back just a bit. She wasn't angry with Hooligan now, and was rather enjoying exercising some force.

Hooligan fell over and began laughing, "now we're getting somewhere," Hooligan said with a grin, "but seriously, how can you expect to break anything with a weak ass hit like that." Hooligan stood up, "go on hit me as hard as you can, break a bone cause some bleeding. Make me hurt."

"Well, if it's alright with y'all, ah'll tell 'em y'all came at me with a shank," smirked Redwood.

 

This time, Redwood held back none of her considerable strength. She struck Hooligan directly in the ribs, satisfied with how hard she hit. He would likely need to go to the infirmary, but Redwood didn't care too much.

Hooligan fell onto the ground hard with a thud. He laughed as he cradled his side. He had heard a crack and there was no doubt that several ribs were broken. "That's more like it." Hooligan said winsing in pain slightly, he looked up at Redwood with a grin, "again. Do it again."

Shadow grabbed the baton and said as he yanked it away and handed it one of his guards, 

"Redwood, I said no. Hitting a prison is only allowed when I say it is. You are dismissed for now."

"If ya don't keep your mouth shut and stop provoking the guard, I will sew your mouth shut."

"You know your no fun at all Shadow," Hooligan said with a fake pout. He smiled, glad to see that he had gotten under Shadows skin. "You really need to chill out more." He looked over at Redwood, then back to Shadow, "i tjink you just need a girl friend. I suggest Redwood. She's a fiesty one."

Shadow sighed, then raked his claw across Hooligan's face. He liked the blood off his claws and said, 

"Nightmare, come over here."

 

Nightmare sprinted over and said, 

"What do you need sir."

 

Shadow handed Hooligan over to Nightmare and said,

"Take him to the infrmery, and if anyone asks, he did it to himself."

"Well, ah woulda loved to beat the shit outta y'all mahself, but th' boss had th' pleasure," Redwood said as she walked off. "It was fun breakin' yer rib though."

 

Now that she was dismissed, Redwood decided to head over to the guard's lounge and maybe have a bite to eat.

"Yay field trip," shouted Hooligan happily, seemingly not caring about the blood dripping from his face. He looked at Nightmare, "I've also got some broken ribs but that was from Redwood playing a bit too rough." He turned to Shadow, "but who doesn't like it rough? Am I right?" he said with a wink.

Shadow punched him in the broken ribs as hard as he could.

 

Nightmare placed Hooligan on her back and said before running to the infermery, 

"Sir, he was already in pain. You didn't have to hit him again."

 

Once Nightmare and Hooligan were gone, Shadow turned to the guards and said, 

"Lose the bed, He'll be sleeping on the ground."

Hooligan smiled as he talked to Nightmare, "thanks for your concern but I'll be fine." Hooligan chuckled and winched in pain, "see it only hurts when I laugh. You know I think he'd be a lot happy if he went on a date once and a while." He looked at Nightmare as best he could, "you're single right Nightmare?"

Nightmare looked over his shoulder and said, 

"Yes, I am, No one would want to date Shadow, and don't even think about it. I might be nice, but I can still put you in the ground if you say it."

She slowed to a walk to catch her breath

 

After the bed was removed, Shadow went to his office, pulled out a drink and took a few sips of it.

Redwood had made her trip to the lounge short, only getting a cup of coffee. After that, she began to make her way down to the infirmary to pay Hooligan a visit. He was intriguing to Redwood, and she wanted to continue poking around with him. Hooligan at least seemed like a good outlet for her aggressive tendencies.

"You'd drop a stallion, with broken ribs, on the ground for trying to make another stallions life a little happier," said Hooligan who wad acting shocked, "you don't sound nice at all. Maybe you're the one who needs a boyfriend." Hooligan gave a sly/flirty smile to Nightmare, "interested?" he asked with a wink.
