Nightmare walked passed a few guard, some saluted and others just waved, then she said,

"It's how we think. Shadow was going to try to fix Discord so he could go back to society.

She turned to him and said,

"I understand you have some unanswered questions you want to ask."

Actually yes. I had many unanswered questions. Am I allowed to have hourglasses? What is the normal pony lifespan? Life sentence in here is like "until I die" thing or just 1000 years of detention just called "life sentence" because no one can survive that long? Do you have chocolate? What is served as the food here besides hayburgers? Can I have a kitty? A mini-Discord statue? What is this place? What did they do to you or offered you so you stop being a villain and stay here? What would happen if I accidently slip and fall down on the floor.... killing some guards while I'm doing it? Does this place have a library?

Hooligan smiled as he saw stars circle around his head, the hit to the face had left him very dazed so he soon passed out. He stayed relativly still except for the occasional twitch. He also mumble something but it was pretty hard to make out. He smiled, "of course you can hit me Redwood," he mumbled in his sleep, "you dont have to ask."

"let's head to the garden to talk, but before we head there, I need you to promise me that you won't try to escape. Basically, you are the second one that actually respects me?"

Shadow woke up and realized he fell asleep, He walked out and headed down the hall to see how Hooligan is doing  on recovering.

@@Dapper Charmer,

After hearing Hooligan's mumblings, Redwood couldn't help but be a little put off. Did he just like getting beaten, or did he like getting beaten by her? Could she go so far as to have a crush on her? It was an odd thought to say the least.

When Redwood reached Hooligan's cell, she simply opened the door and threw him down.

I never make promises I can't be sure to keep. And even then, I avoid to. But I will try my best not to.

He smirked.

Maybe I do respect you, your majesty. Maybe it's just a clever plan to get on your good side to escape or....other reasons. Who knows. You can be sure of nothing in this world of illusions. Only time will tell.

He chuckled silently.

But who is the second one anyway? Just curious... But I'm usually too lazy to escape. My advantage is time. I wait patiently, carefully pressing the right buttons and pulling the right strings to start chains of events timed perfectly. This timing results in a brief moment, that could possibly take years to happen, but when it does, I am able just to stand up and slowly walk away while doors open in front of me and obstacles collapse. It brings enormous satisfaction. But I am sure you understand me perfectly. After all, that's exactly how you escaped the moon and is exactly how Discord was planning to escape with his vines he planted while confronting Sunbutt and Luna...

Heh, another "reformed" villain eh? I should have guessed earlier. Such a shame. Equestria needs a recurrent villain. It is lucky to have a new one to pop up every time, but that won't last forever. And as good and evil are relative one to each other, without a distinct "evil", everything will be spread into "good" and the "less good", making of "less good" the new "evil"... It's how things work. It's a natural way. It's the reason utopia is impossible. The reason the universe created Discord to match the elements of harmony... It looks like in the future, I will perhaps have to take the role of a villain... for the greater good. Ironic isn't it?

Redwood outright laughed as she walked out. For some reason, she just found the whole situation amusing. A prisoner having a crush on a guard wasn't something she ever thought could happen, and to be honest, she was kind of liking it. Besides just beating him, Redwood could have some fun with Hooligan by teasing him as well.

Quite elementary, your majesty. I can at first use the hourglass to know the exact patterns of the guards. Afterwards, I can send the cat as a scout and a spy ahead, as I would, in theory, be able to see through its eyes after tying a strong bond with it. Knowing the layout as well as the timing, I would be able to plan my escape better. I will then use the mini-statue of Discord to shape a key for the doors I would encounter, with the help of my cat sticking it's tail into keyholes. For the more advanced locks, I would use the metal framing of the hourglass to make few lockpicks, one of which I will use to get rid, if possible, of my magick blockers. Then, I could use the glass casing of it to make some glass shards to have an additional projectile weapons. Then, I will finally take the sand with me to use it either as an additional resource to make a new key by melting it. Or throw it in the eyes of somepony, or, again by melting, to jam a lock on some door. That's it. Oh, and I forgot. The Discord statue's horns make fine lockpick as well and I could also use the stone bits of the statue as additional projectiles.
