The creature seemed to resist the pull of the chains as it contnued to attack Shadow.

"What is the motive behind your little Uprising, Shadow? Why do you do these things instead of moving on?"

"Well, there are a few reasons" Shadow said "I hate Six. Rain screwed me over in my opinion. I'm a sore loser. And it can be fun sometimes" Shadow said still dodging the attacks if needed. "So i can get the last laugh"

 

"Oh I do not think that will be a problem" Fire said with a rather smug grin.

The creature grew stromger and quicker as Shadow spoke these words.

"Ah... Your own selfish motives are what force you to do this," he said as the creature sent Shadow flying into a rusty wall.

"You have to learn to forgive and move on. Stop thinking about yourself!" he shouted as another seal formed around Shadow...

Scipio watched as Shadow began to be pulled into the darkness of the Otherworld. He did nothing to help....

"Your choice then, friend... I've no problem with seeing you killed for your own selfishness, but before you're swallowed into the dark, just remember that Rain isn't the only one out there. You can still have a good life with someone else. Move on!"

The creature towered over Shadow as the smaller figure materialized and looked at Shadow in sadistic triumph as half his body began to erode away...

Skylight simply nodded, deciding not to question it. She was getting exhausted, often having to move her hooves quickly to regain balance. "Could I rest somewhere?" She asked, which she found rather stupid to say.

(I see what you did there... Anyway, I guess you could still have him be sad over Rain, but accept the fact he can't change her mind... About the monster, attack the smaller figure and break away its chains)

The creature raised a claw and prepared to bring it down on Shadow's head...

Shadow decided in a last ditch effort to attack. He used a dark beam of energy to attack the smaller creature.

 

Fire nodded. He used his magic to create a tent out of black magic. It was odd considering he was a Pegasus and not a unicorn.

The smaller creature screeched in pain and staggered away. Due to Shadow's obstinance, however, it began to heal itself quickly and used the larger creature to attack Shadow.

"You're never going to really get rid of it you know," Scipio said as it slammed Shadow intothe ground. "Just accept the fact you will never be able to change anything now, leave it be..."

Shadow knew deep down he had failed and was too late. He shot another beam at the creature, this time with more power. He noticed the chain and shot a second beam.

"Perfect," Scipio said as he noticed Shadow's feelings. Once again, he felt the strange energy of some other entity manifesting itself from the Otherworld and primarily, Shadow...

The creature staggered around, unable to heal properly...

Shadow continued to shoot magic blasts at it. And shot another one at the chain, breaking it.

Both of the creatures fell to the ground and began to erode away. The chain started to link back together though...

"We have to know if you really have accepted this fate," Scipio said with a calm expression...

Shadow felt something in him. He cringed in pain. Before he could even fall over he was blasted back into a wall. But a second pony was also thrown out into a wall in the opposite direction. It would appear that Shadow had been split into two ponies. Shadow was almost knocked out when he hit the wall.

 

The second pony got up. He did not resemble Shadow too much. A much darker grey coat, his mane was black and his hair was different from Shadow's. His eyes were Shadow's trademark inverted eyes except with red pupils.

Scipio gave a frown as he saw the new being emerge.

"I knew something was odd..."

His symbiote spread over him as he made a chain of barb wires form a wall around real Shadow.

"You're no being I know to exist in this world... Who are you and where do you come from?"
