"Like i said, i'm going to have a little fun and see what happens." Omega said "I'm just waiting for the right time." he thought for a moment, he was getting annoyed at Ziygma constantly asking him what he was talking about. He used his magic to create a screen that showed the entire camp and what was happening.

"Bingo!" said Oak with a clap of his hooves. He then opened his mouth to reveal pointed teeth and his eyes went dark. "So I guess you can tell what I am..."

Oak quickly set up a tent and gently brought Rain inside, glancing around furtively as his eyes turned a light brown in colour. Once there, he shook her awake, gently calling "Rain! Rain!"

When she blinked open her eyes, she started. "Who the hell are you?!" she yelled as she leaped to her feet. Suddenly her eyes widened in shock. "Sand?"

Oak shook his head. "That's not my name anymore. I'm Oak now." He smiled at her sadly.

Rain's frown suddenly widened and she hugged him tightly. "Oh god, Sand, what happened?"

"There's no time to explain," he said urgently. "They think I'm helping you. Look, we need you back."

Rain tightened her mouth and shook her head. "I can't, I'm sorry. This is my home now."

Oak gripped her shoulders. "Rain. You don't understand. We NEED you."

Rain looked around nervously. "Sand, c'mon. You know I can't-"

"GODAMMIT RAIN!" he suddenly yelled, shaking her, and his eyes reverted back to gold.

Rain took one look at him and screamed, scrabbling out of the tent, and he watched her helplessly.

Shadow turned around when he heard the screaming "For the love of Celestia" he muttered as he returned to the camp.

Rain saw Shadow approaching and ran over to him, grabbing onto him and holding on as though for dear life.

"Who's bright idea was it to let HIM in here?!" she yelled, pointing a hoof at Oak.

"Well, he convinced me that he was going to help you somehow when i was trying to kick him out" Shadow said "Seeing the fact you were screaming id take it as a lie now"

Oak approached and pried Rain off, glaring at Shadow.

"You don't understand!" he said desperately, but Rain kicked him and he sadly released her.

"Oh I understand PERFECTLY," she retorted, obviously furious. "I told you I was OVER that! And then you have the nerve to-agh!" She pointed at his eyes as though it was some sort of explanation.

"You know I can't help it," he pleaded, but Rain held up a hoof to cut him off.

"DON'T want to hear it, SANDSTORM," she spat.

"I beg to diff-" He cut off in the middle of the sentence and his pupils shrunk. He seemed to stay in the same position though.

 

Shadow woke subconsciously in the same type of room Omega was sitting on. One half of it was white with black liquid floating. And the other was black with white liquid. The only two people in it were Shadow and Omega. The stood across from each other. "So the test begins" Omega said with a smile, staring at Shadow.

Rain glanced at him. "Shadow? Uhm, Shadow...?"

Oak looked at her furiously. "I waited, all this time, for THIS." He began to approach Rain, his eyes glowing yellow, and Rain backed up.

"Sand, stop, this isn't you!" she pleaded, but he just smiled with his shark teeth and his mane slowly changed from black to red. Before she could say anything she was pinned down and chocking as he pressed his weight on her throat, grinning madly.

"Hiya, Rain."

Fire, Harley and Stitches all reached the camp at the same time. Harley brought him brute strength upon Oak and kocked him off Rain and into a tree. "I told you i was going to pummel you!" Harley said with a grin as he pointed his paw at him.

Oak started to laugh madly and his voice grew strangely high.

"Hello friends! Come to join the party?"

Rain stood up and coughed, staggering over to Harley. "Please, let me do this," she hacked.

Harley did not take his eyes off Oak "And whys that?" He asked

 

"Let the fun be declared a start!" Omega said as he shot a magic blast straight at Shadow. It caught him off guard and hit him directly in the chest, knocking him back. In the real world he coughed up a bit of blood.

Oak just laughed and looked at the wound. A black substance poured out as it healed almost instantly. He kicked Six in the face, easily knocking him over, and smiled at Rain.

"Hey, sweetie. How about we get out of here?"

Rain looked at Harley pleadingly. "Just...please. You don't know what you're doing."
