Rain chewed her lip and hung her head.

"It wasn't my choice..."

"Y-you never told me?" he then said.

"You don't understand, he-"

She was cut off, he mouth shutting again. "Don't want to give too much away, now," said Oak evilly.

Shadow paused for a moment. He always thought it was his fault that Rain became like this, she was innocent and he was the prime evil in her life. His thought on that began to change. She had kept these secrets from him, when he would of done anything for her. These betrayals against Six. Everything seemed almost as if it was a lie. How could she not tell him?

 

Omega watched from a cloud in the air. Oak restraining Rain was interfering with the plan.

*Xiro was not very scared anymore, but she was incredibly confused. She leaned over to Harley.*

"Are you understanding any of this?"

*She asked.*

"N-not really" He muttered back.

"N-not really" He muttered back.

 

"We'll ask Fire about it?"

*She suggested.*

Oak sighed. "This is becoming bothersome, you all like this. In her defense, she had no clue I existed until today. She hasn't known I've existed for six years."

"And why do ya think you can just take her like that? What gives you the right?!?" demanded Six, betrayal evident in his voice.

Oak sighed and then shoved something in Rain's mouth that made her go unconscious again.

"Me and Rain were betrothed from a young age. We grew up together. We were betrothed from the moment she was born. When I ruined my families honour, I was banished." His eyes stopped glowing and his features softened as he started to turn back to normal. "We ran away together, wanting to start our new life, until we were caught. Before we were taken away from one another...I...I cast a memory spell on her." He turned his head away in shame. "I knew they would torture her...I couldn't let her know anything about me, they'd have killed her. When they were finally convinced she knew nothing, they left her as she was, unknowing of her past. But the catch was, when she saw me again, as my true self, she'd remember our history together..." He sighed and glanced at her. "I've followed her everywhere. I joined the Reapers to keep an eye on her, but when she came back I had to as well..."

Looking pleadingly at the others, now normal again, he frowned. "You have to believe me. I can't say anything more..."

midnight groaned and came too slowly, "uggh," he rubbed the back of his head, he was unable to move.

Shadow wheezed from the damage to his chest. The problems began to build up, all these problems, they always grew. Grew and grew and grew to larger ones. He loved Rain, he would of done anything for her. But everything was getting so vague now. Nothing even made any sense. He could not even comprehend what was happening. Rain was supposed to get married to this guy? Who does this psycho think he is getting into the middle of HIS problems, in HIS life, in HIS camp, and making HIS problems even WORSE!? His mental condition obviously declining to a frustrated insanity. Seeing the fact he was so frustrated, confused and angry, he could not even think of what to say.

 

Omega continued to watch from the cloud, maybe he was wrong, this guy interfering with the original plan was only going to make Shadow's outcome worse than it already was going to be.

 

Star had left the camp and rushed back to her house when a fight seemed to have started. She was horrible with fights, and they scared her most of the time. She quickly locked the door hoping no one saw her leave. "This is getting really rowdy down there, what was that one mare talking about?" she thought.

midnight slowly got to his hooves being able to move again, his vampire system healed quickly, he streached his wings, and walked over to shadow.

"Well, whoop de bucking doo!" he exclaimed after a short pause. He still was unable to move properly as he limped in a circle around the camp because of his limp and possibly broken leg. And his eye still bled blood as it retained it's inverted color.

"So more problems stack up in my problem train eh? Now, we have the arranged married couple about to screw me over, just as i was with Six? And Six to probably take care of!" he said "Not to mention the constant thought of how i meant NOTHING to NO ONE! All my possible strength to protect you. All my feelings to give. All my powers to use. Yet, it. means. nothing! All these things i was so oblivious to!" He said, his stability slowly declining.

midnight frowned, he noticed what was happening to shadow, "so, whats going to happen now?"

"Nothing, is going to happen now" he said

Six looked to the ground, anger welling up inside of him. He looked at Oak with venom in his eyes. "This is YER fault! All of this!! If it hadn't been fer YOU!! we woulda never even been in this situation!! All this time ah thought Rain actually CARED for me!! Now ah know it's all one big lie!!" he took the photo of him and Rain that was stuck to his guitar, and with anger, ripped it in half, tears flowing freely.

This was the first time Shadow had wanted to kill or hurt someone since he had been split. Undying hatred building up towards Oak. He could not comprehend how everything just flipped from being the normal routine to this screwed up arranged marriage problem. Where this asshole Sand pony walks into his camp like he owned Rain.

midnight put his hooves on the bridge of his nose, he felt odd,his body didnt feel right at all, what was happening to him?

While meditating in his secret spot- an old temple that he had discovered- his dark powers started to tingle. Shadow.... there is something wrong at the camp. I am not going to enter unless I find reason to, but until that happens... Darkblade started getting paranoid. He got his blade ready, and prepared his mind for attack. The last thing he needed was to have his body taken over by a monster of pure evil.

Oak glared at them, stepping back in front of Rain's body. ''I know it sounds crazy but she DIDN'T KNOW.'' He looked around at the others, pleading again. ''She's not one to keep secrets. If she honestly knew, she would've told you! I didn't want to do the spell, but it was the only choice. Otherwise, both of us would've been dead right now!'' There were angry tears in his eyes. ''Don't hate her! Don't hurt her! It's all my fault! I can't help it, and neither can she!''

Six glared at Oak, "She was the only one ah ever thought was the one ah could spend mah life with! Ah thought ah could be happy! That fer once in Mah life ah had somepony ta be with!" he shuddered and looked down, "Is... Is it supposed ta be like this? Am ah supposed ta be alone? Ah can't never have anypony ta love and truly love me in return?" he sunk to the ground, his eyes tightly shut as tears still leaked out.

Oak looked down at Rain and suddenly his eyes hardened.

''Maybe...maybe it's better if I just...just wipe her memory of me again.'' His face was twisted in pain but he lowered his horn and closing his eyes, whispered something that the others couldn't make out.

A white light enveloped Rain and Oak started to choke a little as it slowly faded. Rain blinked and yawned, eyeing Oak.

''Um, who are you?'' she asked, seemingly back to her normal self. Oak just hardened his mouth and didn't respond, and Rain shrugged. Noticing the torn picture, she looked up at Six. There were tears in her eyes as she made a weird sound in her throat and ran.

Oak watched her go with remorse in his eyes, an unimaginable pain. With that, he shakily turned and walked away, his body already changing to its red counterpart.
