"Well that's okay, you don't have to go inside." Damien walks inside, and took a deep breath. "This reminds me of our secret base from the war against Sombra, just a bit smaller. But it's kinda cozy. Just needs a bit of light." He said as he lit up his horn in a red aura, brightening up a good portion of the area.

The bat pony came back down with a wrist band around his hoof that was a bit larger then most Damien had seen. "Sorry about the lack of light, being nocturnal has its ups and downs I have the map and stuff now. Hope I didn't scare the others" he pulled a lever to douse the lights around the house. He held the door open for Damien leading him out. "The levers are more for ease of access and intruders. Dosent happen often but it's better safe then sorry right?" he pulled one more lever by the door be for joining the rest "all right I'm good now" he said sounding more awake.

"Alright then." Damien looked at the assembled group of ponies. "If everypony is ready, let's move on. So Missklang, where exactly is the Castle? I've never been inside the Everfree Forest before and I don't quite know my way around. Actually, hang on. Cresent, you have one of your maps right? Let's just use that. Then we'll be at the Castle in no time!"

 

(OOC: Sorry I haven't been posting at all, my life has been pretty crazy lately and I haven't had much time.)

Ginger Lightning had had some horrible luck today...Crash landing, falling into a river, then walking through a briar patch...And she swore she almost got too close to a patch of poison joke flowers...She found a path,thankfully she was starting to think she was going to be lost in the forest forever...she followed the path it was an old path that had some undergrowth growing on it...she noticed the remains of an old castle..." That must be the castle of two sisters...I always wondered why somepony would ever have a castle in the Everfree forest...Best to stay away from that place... I've heard some pretty creepy stories...Although I would like to see if any of them are true...I'll come back later,When I'm not lost and know my way home..." she muttered to herself as she followed the path in the opposite direction of the castle.

@@GingerLightning, @, @@Chrystella, @@Missklang, (I think that's everypony) Cresent pulled out his map looking over it smileing, "as I thought thankfully there is 2 paths enrout to the castel ill take the less dark one" he said putting the map away taking the lead in the group.

 

"its been for ever sense iv been there I wonder if anything has changed there, or maybe more ruins."

 

 Giving a listen to the groups blood beats he soon found out more about how every pony was taking to the woods. chrystella espically with her blood sounding like a full race track of cars going in circels with the dark, he felt bad for her in a sense. Misklang had a lot more flow to it like a carnivile....similar to a pink ponys he knew. Then there was Damiens blood which was a new sound he hasn't herd, maybe its the alicorn side of it maybe its more. Cresent made a mental check to ask him about it later wondering if.......

 

He stooped halfway to the castles with the group sensing a 5 blood beat he didn't recognize, he held up a wing to the group. the blood beat was another odd one. Like it was missing something the others had something every creature has save this one...

 

"we might meet another guys" he said somewhat light heartedly somewhat series. he pulled out one of his blood drinks taking a swing then putting it back in his saddle.

'I've seen enough of that already, no more wars for me. Not ever again.'

As Chrystella sat outside, she saw sometime rustle in the bushes. She stood up quickly getting her magic ready for defense. When the creature came out of the bushes it was actually a baby orthros. Chrystella gasped in astonishment. She had talked to Fluttershy about them when Rainbow Dash almost sold her as a slave at Rainbow falls. After thinking about what Fluttershy said, Chrystella focused herself back on the baby orthros. He would be a wonderful contribution to her family. Just then she heard Crescent's voice, and knew that they were out of the spooky house. Chrystella quickly scooped up the baby Orthros and bounced over to the gang. "Guys look! a baby orthros! Iv'e never seen one up close before! but he's super cute and he's coming home with me!" she exclaimed as the baby orthros played with her hoof. "I'm think of naming him...Geronimo, Gerro for short!"

Missklang jumped towards the orthros which growled a bit but stopped and let Missklang pet him.

 

But are you sure you can just take him like that? What if his parents are still around? Or perhaps they abandon babies like some animals do? I don' know.

In the shadows of the forest, a lone, foreboding, two-legged figure stood by and watched the group of ponies as they played around with the creature.

 

Hmm, he thought, they seem to be enamored by the looks of those young creatures. Hehe, I gotta admit though, I think they're kind of cute, too.

 

He drew out his sharp, metal claws and tried to slowly crawl towards the group through the underbrush. In an attempt to scare or intimidate the ponies, he scrapped his claws against the trees as he walked towards them.

 

With as smirk, he sang a song in an eerie tone that got more audible as he crept closer to the ponies:

 

"One, two, he comes for you

Three, four, scream some more

Five, six, see his tricks

Seven, eight, you're too late

Nine, ten, it's your end."

 

He gave a quiet but sinister laugh as he crept even closer to the ponies.

 

"Looks like lunch has arrived." he chuckled as he licked his bloody claws.

'Well why don't you just go and fight that thing?'

 

'Remember, no bloodshed if it can be avoided. I'm tired of fighting and just want as regular of a life as possible.'

 

'Fiiiine.' The voice said and finally shut up.

The two legged pony emerged from the shadows and held his claws up. The pony standing before the party had an intimidating presence about him just from his outward appearance alone, let alone his lurking in the shadows. He had the same smirk on his face, kind of like the ones insane ponies wear even though they're being threatened, only this time it seemed he was the insane threatening one.

 

"Relax, my child," the figure replied in a calm, deep voice, "I mean you no harm...."

 

For now, he thought followed by a sinister sounding chuckle, let me and my mind decide what your fates are.

 

Damien nodded at Cresent and drew his obsidian blade. But as he did, the voice inside his head decided that now was a good time to start talking again.

"Oh, bloodshed can indeed be avoided, dear boy," the figure said a calm and seemingly proper tone like that of a high class individual as he observed the alicorn's blade pointed at him, "I believe introductions are in order. I am Kronos. Many a wanderer in Equestria who has had the opportunity to cross my path and live has known me as the Wandering Guardian of Wildlife." He came up to the creature they were trying to pet. He knelt down and whistled. The creature came up to him and he gently brushed his claws on their heads. "Shh, shh shh shh, quiet, my sweet creatures of the forest," he cooed at them, "I'm not going to hurt you. You're far too young to defend yourselves. Now, where is your mother." He sniffed the creature then cocked his head the opposite direction of the party. "This way." he said as he wandered the direction his head was turned.

Now, where is your mother." He sniffed the creature then cocked his head the opposite direction of the party. "This way." he said as he wandered the direction his head was turned.

 

 

"Wait a second, how do you even know his parents didn't abandon them?". Even though Chrystella knew Gerro belonged with his parents, she wanted to keep him and didn't want to see him leave.

Kronos, it would be an honor if you could help us, were trying to save a dog named Pirate, he has the Blu Flu! and this flower is the only thing that can save him!"

 

"The Alicorn Flower?" Kronos asked, "I've heard of it, but it's extremely rare. I haven't actually been able to get samples of it myself, so it'll be really difficult for me to find even a lone blossom out here. But, nevertheless, I'll help you guys out cuz you seem like nice and honest folks."

"That's really kind of you, thanks Kronos."

 

'I sure hope that we can trust him, he certainly isn't the type of pony that you want to have to fight. Those claws...' Damien thought.

 

"Alright, let's hurry up, get to the castle, and find that flower! So Cresent, which way now?"

@, @, @@Chrystella, Cresent listend more towards Kronos's blood more then what else was going on around them. He didn't want to appier hostel but something about the blood bet was...not off but.....he couldn't put his hoof on it. His parnoia was still ringing alarm bells but he decided just to keep an eye on this one just in case. The question threw him off bringing him back to the present

 

"oh sorry the next part is.." he pulled out his map looking at it finding where they were he relaxed. Something he could count on was his map making

 

"over here there should be a stream easy to follow that leads by the castel" he said putting the map away then looked at kronos

 

"ever been to the sisters castel?" he asked

Kronos  raised an eyeborw at Cresent. "You think I was born yesterday, boy?" he asked sarcastically, "Of course I've been to the Sister's Castle. Quite a few artifacts in ther, mind you. Or was that in Nightmare Moon's castle? I forget. Anyways, I'm familiar with the Sister's Castle. Lead the way, kid." He then went on to follow Cresent and his friends.
