TheAnimatorOfficial 566 May 5, 2016 Share May 5, 2016 What I mean is that I don't want them to follow the same god damn formula when it comes to musicals (Disney does the best job alleviating from it). Basically it's usually the "waking up" song, followed by the "lost" song, followed by the villan song, followed by the love song, followed by the resolution song. Besides the villan song (those are always timeless) the movie needs to avoid the other four cliches, ESPECIALLY THE LOVE SONG, to stand out among other musicals. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
