@@crispy fries,

"All items will be taken for processing and examination when we reach the rooms. I will admit, I agree with you on that front. We have been getting rather relaxed these last few years, more so than I would like. But there isn't much I can do about it at my rank." The soldier said, before the elevator 'dinged' and the doors slid open.

@@Skijarama,

Redwood walked out of the elevator and headed down the hall. She wasn't too eager to be questioned, but that was the procedure after all. Redwood wasn't guilty, though there might have been some animosity towards her for having left the navy for Dragonfang.

Despite the surprisingly not strict guard, it gave Crystal more unease. Has this place always been this lax? Could be one of the reasons crimes are breaking out more often.

As the four of them went into the elevator, Solar and Redwood managed to find a conversation with the guard. While Husk went along quietly and suspicious. That gave her a perfect room to break her own silence. She closes in on him, "Hi, you're pretty quiet aren't you?"

She immediately took a small step back, the colt's smell was even worse than that rash mare.

He looked over at the mare whom approached him and could see the visible disdain or disgust. It was true, the suit was hot, and the chemicals were strong. It honestly stung a little, but it was a part of his livelihood. He took a couple steps away from her and apologized, "I'm sorry. I haven't had the chance to shower. I'm still a little shocked... Wait, who are you?"

@@Colenso Rivers,

It wasn't until now that Redwood noticed the smell coming from the odd stallion who claimed he was a bounty hunter. She had plenty of experience with all sorts of weapons, and there was no doubt that he had been around something weapons-grade. Redwood gave him a brief glance, then kept on walking.

"I guess we didn't properly introduced each other. I'm Crystal Marine, a reporter from Equis, originally a Temorae resident" Crystal smiled to Husk with her nozzle still twitching from his smell.

The sudden gaze from the rather impulsive mare to Husk made her frightened. She hoped Husk doesn't let that broke their conversation.

A smile broke on his face and he commented somewhat happily, "Temorae, I'm from Temorae!" He wasn't, but his cover was, "However, I was only a farmer until my career change. I'be never been through somethin' like this." His smile became nervous, like the explosions were still on his mind.
