Thoughts on pony impersonation?

We got a taste of it durinb "Lost Treasure of Grifinstone", with Dash impersonating Twi, but season 6 feels like it's laying it on kind of thick. Rarity impersonating Pinkie, in "Gift of the Maud Pie", Twi impersonating Pinkie in "A Hearth's Warming Tail", And Dash imperonating all her friends (except Spike) in "Newbie Dash".

 

Is this shtick funny? Has it been overused? How do you guys feel on the pony impersonations?

It's really funny when it's in short bits, but that whole 1 minute scene in Newbie Dash was just bad. Never again.

It was used well twice ... not so much in Newbie Dash. At this point I see it as less of a schtick and more of an actual personality trait of Rainbow. I could do without it being used for a while.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it was amusing. It's always a bit of a treat for me whenever it happens.

It's cute, if used sparingly. Twilight's Pinkie Pie impersonation in "A Heartswarming Tail" for example was the right amount of impersonation.

A little bit is funny, but the impersonations in Newbie Dash just made me kinda cringe
