gaming Is anyone upset by no pokemon redistributions?

Just checked serebii, and saw a Mew released 2 months ago is getting redistributed for those that didn't get it the first time. Now, with pokemon red, blue, and yellow released for the 20th anniversary on 3ds, was anyone expecting some of the old Pokemon exclusive events of g1 to be released, too?

Like surfing or flying Pikachu? Or Dragon Rage Magikarp, even?

Such a disappointment.

Theyre probably pushing mew so much because of how easily exploitable the mew glitch is in the originals. I wouldn't object to more event gen1 pokemon being released, though I think the only recognizable ones would be surfing and flying pikachu and maybe amnesia (or nasty plot now) psyduck. Most events were Japan only, limited in distribution or just a royal pain like the eon ticket in the early days before wifi came along.

But you would think with all the 20th Ann. Hype, they would've capitalized on g1 distribution. Mew is fine, but like you said, it can be gotten through a glitch and still be legit. Surfachu and Flyachu can't, without hacks

Yep, completely fair point, but that's probably why gamefreak is pushing mew so much. I was going to mention the pokewalker for getting special pikachus, but I just remembered that you cant transfer a pokemon with HMs from gen 5 to gen 6. Also disappointingly, the battle animations for pikachu using surf and fly in gen 6 are the stock animations.

They're distributing legendaries all year to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Sure something like Surfing Pikachu would be nice, but they're doing quite enough already... personally I can't wait to finally get a Meloetta later this year.

pretty much all pokemon legends we've gotten before, and far more recently than g1 event pokemon.

When was the last time we had a Pikacu distrib? Not even one that knows HM moves, but just a random Pikachu?

We get legends of some sort every month (and this was before the monthly 20th Ann. Distribs)
