Jokuc 8,173 May 2, 2012 Share May 2, 2012 (edited) Have some history! So I found this video http://blip.tv/famil...e-g-1-3-5551159 I'm not sure if it already have been discussed, but I liked the video and found it quite interesting. There is alot of old-gen things in it but it's worth a watch! Let me know what you think Edited May 2, 2012 by Jokuc
Sir Cyborg 26 May 2, 2012 Share May 2, 2012 Wow. I have never watched any of the old generation media, so it was all kinda new to me. He made a seemingly boring subject fun, but thats just maybe because like the new generation, and history is interesting sometimes. Is all of his videoes this good, or is this the only one? SrFrog 927 May 2, 2012 Share May 2, 2012 You know the first generation didn't seem that horribly bad so why all the hate for it? Oh, and that prince pony... that was just priceless. I guess G1 liked ponyfiying stuff too. 1 "Never give no manipulative bitch the benefit of the doubt" - Compa's grandpa...

Dave247 568 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 (edited) I liked that video, I was always interested in knowing about the history of MLP. Here's another video he did that's purely about Gen 4. http://blip.tv/famil...tive-g4-5593270 Also did anyone remember seeing Nightmare Moon in the Hourglass at the start of Ep 1? He points it out at 10 minutes. Batbrony 16,055 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 Both of those videos in the attached link were a wonderful retrospective analysis of G1-G3, and a wonderful and very praising review of G4. I think this guy's actually a part of Channel Awesome or TGWTG, but I haven't really seen him much before; I should definitely check out more of his reviews, his humor was clean, which I appreciated since most of TGWTG's reviewers aren't usually that clean, and he had a great critical analysis of the shows, although I think he gave G1-G3 just a little too much credit (although it's easy to try and desperately grasp for straws for any of those shows... well, except for G3, somebody would need to smoke something reallllllllly good in order to defend that at all! ). Thanks for the link Jokuc!!! 1 "You'll hunt me. You'll condemn me, set the dogs on me. Because that's what needs to happen. Because sometimes... cupcakes aren't good enough.
