ooc RWBY: Heros of Remnant

Welcome one in all to the world of Remnant or as some refer to it the RWBY universe. If you don't know what it is look it up. Basically their weapons are a melee weapon that can turn into a gun or the gun can be used while it is in its melee form. There are also the classical weapons like a sword and shield or a gun. Then there are weapons that use dust (pretty much magic but literally dust or in the form of crystals...it is the elements...fire water, wind, earth, ice, electricity, and such) or can even be made of dust.

 

You also have aura which is considered to be "like a forcefield," -Jaune Arc, and help the humans use their semblance, which is pretty much their ultimate. Aura can run out and will leave a character vulnerable to kill.

 

Their are two playable species in the series...humans and fauness which are humans with either the ears, tails, claws, or fangs, or anything else related to an animal pretty much nekos.

 

Here is the oc application...yes you must make one I will not take an actual application from the site unless it is literally made with these categories.

 

I will not be using Monty's traditional color name sequence which is your character's name has to be related to a Cl color in some way.

Alright on to the enemies and such

 

There are 3 types of enemies in this world Grimm and the Whitefang and the casual thug.

 

Grimm: creatures that look like certain animals but are completely black with a white face and red eyes to anybody who is joining try to add some pictures so others can understand.

 

The Whitefang: an organization of fauness meant to represent equality with the humans but once the humans started treating them like unequals the peaceful leader stepped down and a new one arose pursuing to gain equality by fear and violence.

 

The casual thug just happens to be the humans who are mainly a nuisance compared to the Whitefang and the Grimm to if they were inside the walls of the cities.

 

 

What you are training for...yes that is right, training as in school...you are trying to become a huntsman or huntress. During initiation you will be graded and put into teams of four...this is the tricky part because I will put you through a series of tests on a journey to find a small number of artifacts where you will choose one...also the first person you talk to will be your partner for the four years you are in the school. When you get to the location of the artifacts I will PM you with a message asking you which one you will you choose where then after everyone has completed initiation I will then say who is on which team and who the leader is based on score and/or my choice.

 

After this is complete you will have a dorm with your newly found teammates and the real rp shall commence with me giving news on certain events classes and everything else...so choose your Backstory wisely because that will affect how your story progresses

 

 

Anyways my character is a mystery character and the only thing you know is his name...Shaun Wolffe and he is a wolf fauness.

 

Thought I would give this type of rp a shot I want at least 2 teams so 8 players right now and if it does well maybe a third and fourth team as well anyways welcome to the rp.

I've got two for you.

 

Name: Mariata Vargsdotter 

Appearance: Tall, shoulder length silver hair. Light green eyes. Wears old style military uniforms.  

Personality: An elegant and dapper woman with a flair for the theatrics, discussing every day things in a dramatic fashion. Very active while she talks to, dancing and posing as if she were on a stage. Loves talkign about history, preferably military kinds. During combat, she get's serious, rallying those around her like a general. Calm in the face of fear, yet loud and clear on her orders. 

Fairy tale or historical figure based on:  Various military figures. Sun Tzu, Gustav Adolf, Napoleon, Washington, Lee, Grant.

Weapon: Dominium de Proelio. A long barreled shotgun mocked up like an antique rifle, with the butt transforming into a chainsaw. 
 

 

Species: Fauness (Wolf) 

 

Semblance: Accelerated healing. Regenerates her health at an accelerated rate. How fast depends upon the severity of the wounds, ranging from minutes to days. 

 

Backstory: Mariata's family had a rich history in warfare. Generations fought for the Fauness cause throughout the centuries. But as the world progressed, the need for soldiers like her family diminished. Warriors like her kin weren't needed for years. So she broke the trend of settling into civilian life and attended military school and joined the military itself, even completing officer school. 

 

Unfortunately, despite combat training, she learned how to combat humans and other Fauness in conventional warfare, trained to fight terrorists & foreign armies. Not the spike of incursions by Grim, who were allotted to be dealt with by the hunters & huntresses. Mariatta hated how her family's old roles as soldiers and protectors were so useless now in the face of this new threat.  So she joined on to train as a huntress, and restore her families glory and honor, with the intent of rejoining the military and imparting new means of fighting onto her old traditions.    

 

 

 

 

 

Name: Regina McLoud

Appearance: Past shoulder length messy red hair. Red eyes. Denim & leather vest. Torn jeans. 

Personality: Loud, proud, wild, crazy, hyperactive, non conformist. Always talking about bands. This music vs that music. Running down her rig. Acting like she's in an interview. She also deals out tidbits of random trivia, unique philosophy and at times, unsettling advice.  But beneath that hard rocking exterior is an intelligence. She's a very smart and well educated intellectual and artist. But tries to hide it, as that may skew others perceptions of her awesomeness.  

 

Fairy tale or historical figure based on: Heavy Metal musicians, namely Dimebag Darrel, Zakk Wylde, Paul Baloff, Lemmy, etc. 

Weapon: Aggravator. A BC Rich Warlock guitar that the back half turns into a broad ax/ scythe combination, with the head firing off as a chained grappling claw to reel in opponents in the vein of the Japanese kasari gama. For distance combat, it turns into a 50 cal. assault rifle that she fires by playing riffs and solos.  Not to mention the sounds of her playing double as a sonic weapon. 

Species: Fauness (bat)

Semblance: Stage presence. Hyper sensory ability allows her to be aware of her surroundings at all times and avoid in coming strikes (spidey sense) 

Backstory: In the hopes of being able to protect herself, her band and her fans (as well as getting press for her music), Regina has enlisted to hone her skills, give herself some credibility, and hedge her bets should a life in music nor work out.

[Colenso Rivers 85]

Name: Helgauve Colenso Abyss
Color: Indigo (SVG) #4B0082
Appearance: Colenso's body unadorned possesses porcelain skin, long, layered and jagged black hair, and slim musculature. Long, smooth Centipedal anttenae that sweep back with his hair are of a dark red. His right organic eye is svg indigo. Due to an accident concerning his destructive aura, his left eye is a robotic, pure beaming red orb, the left part of his throat, right chest area and right arm are all machine components as well. The teeth on the left side of his face are of a black, jet like synthetic material and are viciously pointed. He often wears a heavy combat cloak and suit, which are black peices of kevlar like fabric with plates of gunmetal grey alloy plates attached periodically across the getup and often overlapping eachother with razor sharp lines. He is also adorned with a pair of clawed gauntlets and a smooth, black mask seemingly made of the same material as his teeth. This mask is featureless except for only being able to see the red orb of his synthetic eye through it. Due to his semblance, all metal components are striated with the black corruption of void matter.

Semblance: Colenso triggers the void energy of his aura, making his body a generator of the energy. While active an area around him is destabilized by the piercing void, eating away at aura, harming things of matter, destabilizing fields of energy and tearing apart the senses of individuals within in. The farther one is from Colenso, the less severe the effects, up to twenty eight feet. Direct contact with Colenso is extremely destructive and completely debilitating, if not lethal. However this form can only be sustained as long as his machine support systems resist the effects of his semblance. They usually only last one to two minutes. Also, in this state, Colenso's mind also falls victim, completely discarding all sense of comadarie and friendship and vehemently attacking with abandon until all that stands in his way are thrown away and all his enemies are gone.

Weapon: A large greatblade known as Nehmons Nightwrath. Taking three forms, it serves as a large wave blade, splitting into two swords held by a chain, and then transforming to become a bladed high powered slug cannon. Due to its hooked edges, the frontal blade is near impossible to block. To compensate for its incredibly wide swing and to keep momentum high, exhaust ports are placed in specific area's on the gun for pressurized kinetic blasts.

Faunus or Human: Faunus (Centipede)
Home: Near Mistral
Personality: Colenso was the face of fear and anonymity in the ranks of the white fang. However, once his identity becomes apparent, his attitude can be best described as solemn. He is filled with guilt, seeing no difference between the grimm and himself other than the insight to see his sins. Entering a personal area with Colenso is often a very tough task, for he is actively pursuing a future where he no longer means anything to anyone once his job is finished. He is not only upset with himself but society as a whole for the lack of help given to his people. However, the innate belief that others are better than him and deserve life more than him often puts him in a place of conflict, self sacrifice and no regard with his safety. Given his training, he does work well with others on the professional level.
Bio*: Helgauve was born within a population of tribal Faunus like him, whom actively practiced their own beliefs outside of logic and hunted the Grim in order to sate the "black empress's" appetite for violence. During his upbringing he took up the weapon common to his people, the "river carver." During a coming to age ceremony however, his semblance bore the likeness of the black empress, and instilled in the tribe a sense of fear never precedented in their tribe before. His body, not yet resistant to his semblance was partially eaten away in a blast of void matter. However, the white fang had always been watching their people, from afar, and once this occurred the found a new operative. Given stolen robotic systems and trained under the white fang ranks, Colenso became a top military asset and adorning a style of combat and garb that suggested pure anonymity and instilling fear, the white fang taking advantage of his tribes uncivilized beliefs and convincing him of his nature as a Grimm. However, an existence like this bore down on him, and he began having thoughts of fighting the Grimm as the only Grimm that could. He left the white fang after his pleading that they change their ways, and wandered in the outskirts of civilized society until his skills in a battle with grimm were witnessed by a hunter of high renown.
Strengths: Can make necessary sacrifices, experiences no sense of fear towards any but himself, great focus. Combat, he has inhuman strength, he's very hard to interrupt, and possesses quite sufficient unarmed combat skills should he need them.
Weaknesses: No regard for personal well being, dehydrates easily, refuses to use his semblance.

Colenso I must ask you to make it a bit more PG 13...also there is not a weapon as of yet that can integrate into the body...also a fauness is an animal hybrid I looked it up through every RWBY fandom site and finally there are no actual powers in RWBY the only power they have is their semblance and minor forms of their semblance.

 

 

Alright denim I will accept the first one although even in a military based school you are taught to fight grimm...the second character...PG 13 for one and for two no demon type of fauness and animal...the only creature that can be considered to succubus to me is a snake...also if your character dies she is dead for good you can't come back from the dead...unless the actual show somehow brings a character back to life in a way...so redo the second character

 

 

Now back to you Colenso...try to fix your character and please space out everything I kept getting confused when reading about you character...please fix this and you will be accepted.
