What Do You Like Most About Conventions

What are your favorite things about brony conventions? Some ideas are:

 

-Panels

-Show staff appearances

-Merchandise vendors

-Seeing people you don't see often

-Cosplaying

-Surrounded by like minded people

-Atmosphere

 

Those are just some ideas, definitely not all the options. I just want to know why everyone goes to cons in the first place.

I've never been to a convention that's exclusively MLP-themed, but my absolute favorite things about conventions in general are probably seeing wonderful cosplays and finding some cool merchandise to buy. Usually plushies. 

One reason could also be that going to cons brings me and my best friend closer.

Meeting people with shared interests is what I find wonderful about conventions. I've never been to a MLP:FIM Con, but have been to quite a few anime and science fiction conventions.

I was at a convention this weekend (though not a pony one), so I know exactly what the best part is: meeting like minded-people. There were so many instances where I struck up a conversation with a random stranger, and it didn't feel awkward at all!

I really love seeing the merchandise vendors and the many different things you can buy at a convention. I also love the panels and how much fun and entertaining they can really be. I really like meeting new people and seeing friends you don't get to see some of the time. I also like talking to like minded people and feeling like you know that person for a long time, even if you just met them and started up a conversation with them. I also love the cosplays and how cool and awesome everyone looks.

Where is the option for "everything"? I have been going to Bronycon every year since 2014. And went to ponycon 2016 and am really planning on ponycon 2017.

 

And I love everything about all the conventions I go to, from the panels, to the autographs, to the vendor hall, to bronypalooza, from meeting everyone with similar interest, to the cosplays to just about everything else.

 

I know it sounds silly but, i really feel like conventions are part of my home/where I belong. Because I am surrounded by so many people who I consider family. As long as there are pony conventions you can rest assured I'll be there.

I went to Bronycon for the first time this year & had an awesome time. It was nice to make new friends, discuss the show, see & listen to the voice actors & attend lots of cool panels! If I had the bits, I would go to Fillycon too! Can't wait for Bronycon 2017!!

Everything! It's one of the only places where I really fit in, there's a bunch of cool stuff to buy at the vendor's hall, and some amazing cosplays(I've always wanted to make one myself).
