Copper looked at Ticktock, saying, "Of course it sounds fake, I won't deny it, but I'm not making it up.  What I've witnessed was real, and whether you believe it or not, well, you'd have to see it for yourself.  But I'm not done yet...."

 

Flashback

 

"Is he insane?!" Copper said to himself as both Critias and Hermoes charged at the Divine Serpent.  Unless Yugi had a plan, there was no way for both knights to finish the Divine Serpent.

 

But Yugi did have a plan, and it was apparent that both knights couldn't be destroyed.  "What's this?  Your knights should have been destroyed the moment they collided with my serpent!" Dartz said, shocked at this fact.

 

"Wrong!" Yugi exclaimed.  "Has your memory faded after all these years?  Each one of these knights has a hidden power!  Now Critias, absorb the ability of my Attack Guidance Barrier!"

 

The trap card got absorbed in the Sword of Wisdom, and it glowed a brilliant blue, as now the attack shredded a part of the head of the Serpent, and the light connected to the Sword of Renewal.

 

Next, "It's time for Hermoes to activate his special ability now, but first, I must sacrifice my three Magnet Warriors!  This allows Hermoes to triple the strength of Critias' attack, and send that attack right back!"

 

"You can't!" Dartz yelled, not believing what was happening.

 

"I just did!" the Pharaoh replied.  "Now my two knights are reflecting their attack back and forth, as their strength increases to infinity!"  And it showed on the head of the serpent, the infinity symbol engraved on its' head.

 

End flashback

 

"The next thing that happened was that the three knights of Atlantis merged together to form, the 'Knight of Destiny.'  And the  endless loop attack was a set up for the final attack from the Knight of Destiny.  The Knight struck the Serpent and finished the duel between the Pharaoh and Dartz, but a portal showed up and took away Dartz before the Pharaoh could do anything.  Then the Knights of Atlantis released three souls from another dimension, then disappeared."

 

Copper took one last sip of his shake before saying to Ticktock, "It may sound fake, but believe me when I say this, when the world is at stake, duels become more intense than they're supposed to be."

Ticktock sighed in defeat "Well I guess given the three knights and abilities it wasn't necessarily impossible, and I guess neither are any of those cards or plays, and even though the whole event seems improbable I guess given the nature of everything it may have been real." Ticktock then finished off his shake while he continued to write in his note book.

Dynamo nodded after hearing that slightly jumping in his seat. Hearing that these knights taking down a dragon with infinite strength was astounding. "This duel didn't even sound like a duel anymore. It honestly sounds like a battle between legends in their own right, or something like that. The knights were also cards as well!? Also you said the Pharaoh released three souls from another dimension. Who were these three souls and was Dartz truly defeated?" Dynamo rested one hoof under his chin, while the other rested on the table. He was unable to take his interest off of the story he was hearing at the time.

Copper was surprised at the lack of believing of Ticktock, and more so at the interest of Dynamo, but he continued.  "Well, I don't know about one of the souls that went out of the pyramid, but I do know that Seto Kaiba, the one you saw me duel earlier, was one of them, since an orb went inside his body, so he was one of them.  And the last orb was one that the Pharaoh held, so that meant..."

 

"That the soul belongs to Yugi."

 

The Pharaoh came in unexpected, and Copper nearly jumped from his seat, looking at him and saying, "Oh!  Pharaoh, you scared me."

 

"So you were the one who went into that pyramid undetected.  Do you realize how dangerous that move was?"

 

Copper looked worried at the Pharaoh, then said nervously, "I'm sorry.  I just heard something going on and I wanted to check it out.  I'm an adventurer."

Dynamo was too focused into the story that he didn't notice that the Pharaoh had entered the shop as well. "Oh Pharaoh what a surprise. It's great to see you again. Though I'm really surprised that Kaiba had to be saved. He seems like a powerful duelist, so it kinda comes as a shock that he could have lost and needed to be saved by anypony, or something like that. Though I have to ask because I'm curious Pharaoh. Who was the other orb that came out of the pyramid. Also who is Yugi anyway?" Dynamo raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Ticktock yelped and almost fell of his seat when the Pharaoh interjected into Copper's sentence, Ticktock quickly regained his composure however "Well it's all well and good telling Copper it was dangerous, after all that was quite a while ago, and as we can see he isn't harmed so therefore you should be all good." Ticktock quickly leaned over to Copper and whispered to him "You were alright, right? because if you weren't then that's my whole defence out the window."

Copper looked at Ticktock and nodded at his question, whispering back at him.  "Yeah, I was fine."

 

The Pharaoh looked at Dynamo before his Millennium piece came to life, causing a bright light to develop at the four.  When the light died, a younger version of the Pharaoh was present.  "I'm Yugi." He said.

 

Copper was wide-eyed in shock.  "Wait, how is that even possible?"

 

Yugi smiled at him.  "We both share nearly identical bodies, but I'm a lot shorter than the Pharaoh, as you can tell."

Dynamo had to cover his eyes with a hoof to try and block out the bright light that enveloped the room. As the light faded away, Dynamo lowered his hoof and saw the Pharaoh, but a younger version of standing before the ponies. Dynamo's eyes widened and his jaw dropped in shock and confusion at seeing someone new. Hearing that Yugi shared bodies with the Pharaoh was also confusing and very lost. "It's nice to meet you Yugi, but how do you and the Pharaoh look alike? You said you both share nearly identical bodies. However you sound a little younger than your counterpart and it feels like there's more to it to change, right? I'm just wondering how you can do that because that's crazy, but still really cool."

Ticktock shielded his eyes from the bright light coming from the pharaoh and then went wide eyed to see Yugi standing there "Hmm interesting, so firstly I'm going to address the elephant in the room and ask just, HOW THE HELL YOU DID THAT!? Secondly I'm going to ask what it's like having to decide like who has the body at certain times or like how do you decide when to change and stuff?"

Yugi looked at both ponies before responding to the questions. picking up his Millennium piece.  "Well, I found this thing, called the Millennium Puzzle a few months ago, and in using it, I'm able to turn into the Pharaoh for dueling purposes, or other things."

 

Copper craned his neck in confusion.  "Uh, is there any other 'Millennium' pieces?"

 

Yugi nodded at Copper.  "Yes.  And me and my friends are searching for them so that we can find out the secrets of the Pharaoh's past."

Dynamo looked at the triangular, pyramid like necklace hanging around Yugi's neck. The design looked cool and somewhat mysterious in a way. "I noticed the puzzle, but I honestly had thought it was just a regular necklace. It's good to know what it is and what it can be used for."

 

Dynamo saw Yugi adress Copper about more millennium pieces and about learning the Pharaoh's past. All this information was slowly making Dynamo Pad more confused as he rubbed a hoof against his head to stop the incoming headache. "How many pieces do you have so far, Yugi? Also do you think the pieces are somewhere here in Equestria?"

Ticktock was constantly taking notes in his note book as Yugi was talking "Ok Yugi question, why is it that important that you uncover the secrets of the Pharaohs past, plus is these millennium pieces are as powerful as yours I would imagine that some more... 'devious' people are probably after them as well, am a right?"

Yugi looked at Ticktock before answering his question.  "If we're able to unlock the secrets of the Pharaoh's past, we'll be able to know what happened that made the monsters from that past into thew cards you have right now."

 

He then turned to Dynamo.  "I'm not sure if there are any Millennium pieces here in Equestria, but I will tell you that we have this and the Millennium Eye, which lets anyone see the exact cards that are on the opponents' hands, or hooves, in this case."

 

Copper went wide-eyed.  "Good thing you found it, otherwise the one using the eye would be cheating, or, 'screwing the rules', as I like to call it."

 

Yugi nodded.  "The last one that used the Millennium Eye was a person named Maximillian Pegasus, and he's the creator of the card game you all play now."

Dynamo was surprised that such an item could be used to see an opponent's hand. He got a little chuckle out of Copper's term before replying. "In a way, if you have a bad hand yourself, you would at least know when you would forfeit the duel." Dynamo laughed at his joke, but recomposed himself about the seriousness of the item.

 

"Thanks for letting us know Yugi. I was asking if there were any in our world because of how you and Dartz had been dueling in Saddle Arabia. So it kind of lead me to believe that some items or the stuff you had faced, may very well be here in our world. It may sound strange, but it feels like we face a lot of crazy stuff like that bug bear incident. So stuff like that feels almost the same with the things you and the others have faced. Sorry I'm just a bit confused about this whole thing. It's hard to believe at times, but I can't help but to believe it." Dynamo said as he tried to explain his thoughts to Yugi.

Ticktock nodded at Yugi "Yes I can see why that information is so valuable, I mean in theory if some could find out how to trap monsters in cards, they could trap anyone and make them do whatever he or she wanted."

 

Ticktock then when into thought over this 'Maximillian Pegasus' guy "Hmm why would a man like Maximillian Pegasus have to cheat at his own game, it seems rather ironic in a way, also why did we create this game anyway, what purpose could it have served him, and finally where is he now, I mean if you have the millennium eye then you must have beaten him and somehow got it off him."

Yugi smiled at Dynamo.  "You're welcome.  And it's all right.  Everything happens for a reason."

 

Which led to Ticktock's question being answered.  "Honestly, I don't know.  Pegasus is a mysterious man, but at one point he took away the souls of those he dueled against.  Which is a shame, really, but we managed to get them back."

 

At this point, Copper had put up his Galaxy Eyes deck back into his saddlebag.  He asked Yugi, "What would possess a man to do such a thing?"

 

"The Millennium pieces." Yugi replied.  "If you're not chosen to hold a Millennium piece, you get possessed with an evil side of you."

Ticktock chuckled underneath his breath so on body could here him "I know how that feels." Ticktock then shook his head to clear his mind "Well then what did Pegasus' evil side want with souls anyway, was there a reason or was it just for the sake of being evil?" Ticktock then came to a sudden realisation "Wait if you have to be chosen to hold a Millennium piece then how were you chosen, and when you got the Millennium eye how did you know it wouldn't turn you evil?"

Dynamo smiled at Yugi before replying, "I can agree with you on that one. Just like I said before crazy stuff happens all the time, so I guess it comes not that much of a surprise. Did he have a reason to try and take the souls away from others? It's good to know that he was stopped in whatever ambition he was trying to aim for. Also was he possessed by an evil side of himself from these millennium items? Sorry if I sound rude by this Yugi, but I was wondering what you said by possessed by an evil version of yourself. Did the same happen to you when it came to the Pharaoh, or is it more like destiny or something like that which lead you to today?" Dynamo asked in wonder about hearing this Pegasus person. He also wondered how these millennium items could hold such dark and terrifying powers.

Yugi wasn't sure how to answer these questions, but he did, starting with Ticktock's.  "I think it was for the sake of it, I dunno."  Then with the other question, he shrugged.  "Again, myself and the Pharaoh look almost exactly the same, so it made sense that the puzzle chose me."

 

Concerning Dynamo's question, he nodded at the unicorn.  "Yeah, it was destiny that gave me the Millennium Puzzle.  So, when have you guys started dueling?"  he asked, taking a seat with the three ponies.

Dynamo nodded in understanding. "That's really cool. Honestly destiny is an interesting thing, but I try to control my destiny and don't let others tell me how to follow a path. That's the meaning of my cutie mark." He said as he looked down to look at his mark. He looked back up before replying to Yugi, "I got into dueling around 3 months ago. I'm more of a video game player by trade. My dream is to one day become a professional video game player, but creating a few video games wouldn't be too bad either. Even though I haven't been dueling for very long, it's pretty interesting and it reminds me of video games. When did you become interested in duel monsters Yugi?"

Ticktock chuckled "You know Yugi you seem to have a pretty exciting life, getting to go places, saving the world, sound like a pretty sweet way to live to me, and as for how long I've been duel, I'd say about 6 months, give or take a week or so... Actually what kind of deck do you, use I'm kind of curious."

Yugi nodded at Dynamo at his talk about gaming, and said, "That's nice.  Gaming does have its values, just like dueling."

 

He then turned to Ticktock and pulled out his deck, showing it to the group of ponies.  "I have a deck that includes a variety of cards, like Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, Obnoxious Celtic Guardian, and all that.  What kind of decks do you guys have?"

 

Copper grinned.  "My main deck is the Blue Eyes deck you saw earlier, and I also have a Galaxy Eyes deck."

Dynamo smiled as he opened his deck box and laid his cards out for everyone to see. "The only deck I have at the moment is a Number 39: Utopia Xyz deck. It also has cards that brings out other Xyz monsters. Sometimes I splash in cards like the Gogogo and Gagaga monsters to chain cards together. I have been thinking about building another deck, but I'm not sure what it is at the moment." Remembering what he had learned after the tag duel, Dynamo's slowly faded. He returned his cards into his deck box and laid his head on the table. He closed his eyes and sighed with a crestfallen look on his face.

Ticktock bought his deck out with his magic, "I mainly use a cyber dragon deck, I generally use fusion summons, although I do have a few Xyz cards, I also have cyber angels to help deal with my opponents monsters, finally I have a few synchrons so I can syncro summon and stuff." Ticktock then looked at Dynamo and poked  him in the head "Hey dude are you alright?"

Yugi looked very confused as to what XYZ summoning was.  He was also confused as to what Synchro Summoning was as well.  "I'm confused, what's XYZ summoning and what's Synchro Summoning?"

 

Copper shrugged, then thought about the tag duel.  "From what I can gander from our tag duel, XYZ summoning requires monsters with the same level, and Synchro summoning uses 'Tuner' monsters to special summon."

 

Yugi nodded.  "I see."

 

Copper then looked at Dynamo, and gave him a pat on the shoulder.  "Hey, are you okay?"
