Orange nuzzles him as she picks up the foals and waves "Go do whatever you need to do love" she says, somehow more emboldened then she would have been in the reality plane. She and the foals watch as Dynamo defeat Cosmic and cheers again, as he then returned to them, Luna nods.

 

She walks over to Cosmic "Cosmic Clown, you were once a promising young pony, but you chose a path of darkness" she shakes her head, and hits him with a different burst of magic from her horn, destroying him once and for all. Once he was gone, she opens her eyes and gasps as she awakens and gently nuzzles Orange "It's okay to wake up now sweetie, it's all done with"

 

Orange sighs as she opens her eyes and also gasps sharply "D-Dynamo, i-is he g-gone?"

Dynamo chuckles as he sees his family cheer for his victory. He hugs them tight and nuzzles them lovingly. He glances slightly at Luna, who finally put an end to their tormentor. He closes his eyes and looks away, but sighs in relief. Back in the real world, he slowly opens his eyes as he heard his fiancee's voice. He sits up slowly, but nods at her question. "I think so, Orange. I-I don't sense his presence anymore. It's all over. The nightmare is finally over." He smiles softly before falling backwards into the bed. "It feels like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. T-Thank you for the help, Miss Luna. I also have you to thank aunt Shade and Miss Arcania." He opens his eyes and looks to Orange with a sheepish smile. "I almost forgot to mention to you, sweetheart. Miss Arcania is here visiting. I guess she knows our aunt Shade. She brought her here and she helped in saving you, as well."

 

Arcania nods before walking over and sitting on the bed. She then pulls her student into a tight hug. "He's right, y-young Orange. I'm so truly glad to know that you're okay. After e-everything I was told, I was a-afraid something terrible would have h-happened to you. I'm so g-glad we were able to get to you in time. H-How do you feel, my student?"

Orange looks up and hugs Dynamo, "T-thank you for saving us love, I w-was so scared" she says softly before she looks up at Miss Starmane "M-miss Arcie? Y-you're here too? T-thank you and big sis sis Shade f-for f-finally freeing us from C-Cosmic's torment" she says softly, still hugging and nuzzling into Dynamo's chest lovingly.

 

Shade smiles "Of course baby sister, Arcania and I had been looking for that amulet for years, how it got into the hands of Cosmic Clown, we will never know, now, go back to sleep baby sister, and dream of your foals and little critters"

 

Orange nods and closes her eyes, swiftly falling asleep again

Dynamo smiles and nods. "Your welcome, sweetheart. I promise that I will always protect you and our foals. I was feeling scared myself. The only thing on my mind was to protect you all from Cosmic. The rest was easy and wasn't so scary after that." He returns the hug and nuzzles her lovingly.

 

Arcania nods. "I-It's no problem, Orange. L-Like Shade had said, w-we were looking for that amulet. I'm j-just thankful it's finally been taken care of. I-It never belonged in E-Equestria to begin with. J-Just rest and we'll make sure t-that everyone is informed." She says while turning to Shade and Luna. "Let's go a-and let the others know of what happened. W-We should p-put their minds at ease."

 

Dynamo nods and yawns before looking up to Luna. "Miss Luna? Do you have a spell that helps us have good dreams. I want to be able for Orange and I to see our children again." He asks while giving Luna a hopeful look.

Shade smiles "Oh please Arcania, you're my half sister, you should just call me Shade, you know that" she says and nuzzles her before nodding  "Yes lets, I am sure their parents and sisters will be relieved to hear that everything is alright now, come now sister" she says as she walks off towards the drawing room, where the others had gathered, seeing now that there was no more reason to be in the infirmary. 

 

Chocolate and Candy who had left but come back when they heard Dynamo shouting for Luna.

 

Starling was cuddled up to her aunt and crying, for she was scared of losing her big brother and sister "a-auntie Gentle, i-is big brother and s-sis sis going to be a-alright?" she asks, quivering in fear.

 

Luna smiles and nods "There is, I shall cast as it as you two fall asleep"

Arcania shyly giggles and nods. "Y-You're right, sister. I'm s-sorry about that. I guess i-it's a force of habit. I think t-they'll be happy to know that the situation h-has been averted." She says while walking with Shade towards the drawing room. She smiles softly as she saw the entire family was all together.

 

Gentle Step smiles with a nods, as she strokes Starling's mane comfortingly. "Everything will be okay, sweetheart. I know things look bad now, but I know those two will be just fine. They have each other to watch the other's back. They are strong together when they are working as a team. I just hope we get some good news." She looks up to see Shade and Arcania entering the room. "How are they, Shade? Is there any update? Also it's nice to see you Miss Arcania. I thought you were back in Canterlot with classes going on." She says as Arcania shook her head. "I-It's nice to meet you as well, M-Miss Step. I-I was busy getting s-some reference sheets for the end of s-semester exams. I f-felt the library in M-Manehatten was more helpful. S-Shade found me and told me what was going on. I dropped e-everything and ran a-all the way here. Shade can give you the n-news. Isn't that right, s-sister?" She asks while turning and glancing to Shade.

 

Dynamo smiles and nods. "That's good to know. I was hoping to spend more time in getting to know my children. Goodnight and thank you, Miss Luna. Thank you for helping us in overcoming this obstacle." He lays back in bed while still hugging Orange. He kisses her before closing his eyes. "Goodnight and I love you, Orange." He soon fell asleep and unconsciously pulls Orange closer to him.

Shade smiles and hugs her "It's alright sweetheart, come on let us go" she says and chuckles as the little ones run to hug her "Hey girls, don't worry your big brother and sister are okay now, they're safe and well" she says softly and nuzzles them before looking up to the adults "We have destroyed the amulet once and for all, thus freeing them of the previous owner's torment" she says softly, hugging all three fillies close to her.

 

Chocolate sighs in relief "Thank the stars" he says before slumping onto the couch "I can relax now, my angel is safe"

 

"Goodnight Sweetie, love you too" Orange yawns before falling asleep

Arcania smiles softly and returns the hug. Starling and the others run up to Shade and join the group hug. After hearing the news about Dynamo and Orange, Starling and the others smile brightly. "I'm s-so happy big brother and s-sis sis are okay. Is the n-nightmare finally over?" She asks while they looked up to Shade.

 

Gentle Step sighs in relief as she sits on the couch. "I'm so happy that my baby is okay. Also to answer your question sweetie, yes. The nightmare is finally over. The tormentor is gone once and for all, right? There's no possible way of them coming back to haunt our children?" She asks while clasping her hands together in hope. Quick sat down on the arm of the couch, as he places his hand on her own hands. "It's going to be okay, honey. If they said the tormentor is gone, then he's gone. We just have to put more trust in our kids from now on. We don't want to say it's okay, only to find out it's the complete opposite, you know?" He asks while pulling Gentle close to him. 

 

Dew looks to Shade and Arcania, with a curious look on her muzzle. "Y-You said you finally d-destroyed the amulet. H-Have you been l-looking for this amulet f-for a long time? W-Where did the amulet originate from?"

Shade nods "Yes little one, the nightmare is finally over. Your big brother and sister can finally rest easy now, and so can everyone else" she says as she hugs Starling close and kisses her forehead. 

 

Candy nods and smiles "Indeed, we can finally get some rest" she says, taking Chocolate's hand "come dear, let us get some rest before dinner" she says, dragging him off to their room. Chocolate simply just looks at Quick with a wide grin on his face and chuckles as he is being dragged off.

 

shade looks to Dew Drop and nods "For many,many years"

Quick notices the grin that Chocolate was giving him. He blinks a couple of times before looking at the others. "Did I miss something? Did that grin Chocolate was giving me meant anything? I'm a little lost." He says while his wife shrug her shoulders. "You're just as clueless as ever, dear. Candy has the right idea, though. Let's just get some rest. Everypony needs rest after all that happened today. I'll explain everything later, Quick." She says, taking Quick's hand into hers, before walking off to their room.

 

Dew nods while she looks surprisingly at Shade. "So, this amulet was more than just an amulet? I imagine it goes way farther than that carnival fiasco, huh?" She asks as Arcania nods. "We've searched for that a-amulet for years. I d-don't know the details, b-but Shade was on that c-case more than I was. I was m-more focused on teaching than to w-worry about that nightmare of an amulet. N-No offense, Shade."

As for you my dear Gentle Touch, you stay here and bond with your family, I'll have your things packed and brought here."

Arcania smiles and nods, while turning her attention to Night. "W-While it would be n-nice to stay, I r-really should be going. I s-still have classes to teach b-back at the academy. T-Tomorrow is my last day for the s-summer break. C-Can you tell Dynamo and Orange t-that it was nice to s-see them again?" She turns her attention back to Shade. "I-I can help you grab G-Gentle Touch's belongings b-before I l-leave for Canterlot. M-Maybe you can s-see me off, dear sister?"

 

Gentle Touch, who wanted to protest the order given, hesitantly nods and smiles softly at Shade. "O-Okay, mother and thank you. I really appreciate all that you've done for me." She says while looking over to Night and Dew. "I guess I'll be staying here with Shade for the time being. Is there a room I can stay in while my mother is out collecting my things?" She asks with a curious, yet hopeful expression on her muzzle.

-Time Skip-

 

A couple of hours later, Orange wakes up to find herself in Dynamo's arms, being held in a loving embrace. She smiles as she lovingly nuzzles him and kisses his nose, before silently slipping out of bed to get changed. After getting into a nice tank top and skirt, she kisses Dynamo's nose again "Just going to the dining hall sweetheart, see you there" she says softly and skips off, leaving him to sleep.

 

Candy was sitting at the dining hall, feeding Starling and talking with Gentle Touch and Gentle Step "I am so happy that you two finally found each other, and yes, we are hoping for a little boy this time" she says as she sees Orange "Orange sweetheart, come join us, where's Dynamo?"

 

Orange giggles as she sits next to her mother "He's still asleep mummy"

A couple of hours later, Dynamo found himself waking up in his bed. He slowly opens his eyes and began to sit up. He thought he felt Orange kiss his nose in his sleep. He turns his head to look for Orange, only to notice that she wasn't in the room. "I guess she went down to the dining hall. It is pretty close to dinner." He says while noticing the time of the clock on the nightstand. He slowly gets out of bed and notices that he wasn't as dizzy, but still slightly lightheaded. He gets changed into a tan shirt and black sweatpants. He carefully exits the room and heads downstairs for the dining hall.

 

As he enters the room, he notices that it was only Orange, his mother, Gentle Touch, Candy and Starling. He smiles as he walks towards the table before wrapping his arms around his fiancee. He kisses her cheek and nuzzles her in his embrace. "Hey there, honey. I just woke up, but didn't know where you were. I'm glad I found you and that you're okay." He says while turning his attention towards the adults in the room. "I'm feeling a little better. I can walk, but still felt a little lightheaded."

 

Gentle Step smiles and nods, as she leans over and pets her son on the head. "I'm glad to see you two doing a whole lot better, sweetheart. I also want you to meet someone special. You see, Gentle Touch over here is actually my long lost twin sister. So, say hello to your aunt, Dynamo." She says as Gentle Touch nods. "It's so great to meet you Dynamo. Your mother has told me a lot about you. I'm glad to hear how things have turned out. You truly have a special somepony in Orange. I'm also glad you two could finally get past that torment. I'm also really glad to be reunited with my sister, Night. You have no idea how much it means to me to know I have family." She says while Step wraps an arm around her sister. "I'm really hoping it'll turn out that you have a son, Candy. I'm honestly hoping to have a girl in the future."

Orange nods and nuzzles him as she feels him wrap his arms around her "That's good to hear" she giggles and continues to eat her cheese omelette, "I slept so much better than before, no nightmares, just happy dreams of us and our little ones" she says softly then looks to her mother and two aunts, "This omelette is really yummy" she says with a giggle "B-but I feel like..something bigger, I'd like..a cheese supreme pizza with pepperoni, three cheeses, sausage, beef and pork p-please" she says softly

 

Candy giggles "Uh-oh, looks like someone's starting to get pregnancy cravings, prepare yourself to cater to her cravings, Dynamo dear" she says with a wink

 

Orange giggles as well and nods "Auntie Touch is so nice, she wouldn't stop hugging me before"

Dynamo smiles while returning the nuzzle. "I'm so glad you haven't had any nightmares, honey. It felt really nice getting to meet our children. I look forward to when they will be born." He stands up and walks over to Gentle Touch. He smiles once more hugging his aunt. "It's really nice to meet you, aunt Touch. I'm truly glad that the bully Orange and I  had is gone. It felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. I think I can rest easy knowing that he's finally gone for good." His eyes shrank slightly while he looks back to his fiancee. He then raises his eyebrows quizzically at her choice in food. "I guess being pregnant will have it's challenges. This phase is going to be interesting, that's for sure." He chuckles before taking a seat next to Orange. He grabs a plate and starts putting some steak with carrots on it.

 

Starling smiles and giggles, as she tilts her head at her sister's choice of dinner. "B-Big sis sis very hungry, mommy?"

 

Step giggles and nods at Orange's remark. "Well she is my sister, sweetie. I guess being sweet and kind runs in the family, huh? In all honesty, I think it's because she thinks you are the sweetest thing. I can tell she's really happy for the two of you. She's also really happy to have this one big happy family." She looks around the table to see some of their group missing. "By the way, has anyone seen our husbands? Not only that, has anyone seen Night and Dew Drop? I mean I thought Quick would join me in the dining hall, but he said he wanted five more minutes of sleep."

Candy looks around "Well, for my Chocolate Swirl, five more minutes usually means at least another hour, so ti's likely it's the same for Quick" she giggles and nods at Dynamo's remark "Trust me, pregnancy cravings can go from normal to the strangest of things" she says with a chuckle and looks to Orange then to Starling "That's right sweetheart, when a mare is pregnant, they start having cravings for food and they begin to eat more" she says, petting Starling on the head gently.

 

Orange giggles and nods "I t-think i saw auntie Night and Dew and in the drawing room"

Dynamo laughs at Candy's remark, but smiles softly and nods. "I understand and thank you, aunt Candy. This is a new experience for me, but I think we'll be okay. We just need to take it one step at a time." He says while taking Orange's hand into his own. He uses his thumb to rub her hand while using his magic to help in eating his food. "Is anypony available to make Orange's order. That was a lot of toppings to memorize."

 

Step giggles at Candy's remark. "Well our husbands are like brothers. They were tired from everything that happened earlier. We should let them rest a little more. However, if they don't get up then we'll make them get up. Maybe a prank like throwing a bucket of water on them. That or maybe an air horn would suffice." She nods at Dynamo's remark. "I think the chefs and/or cooks will fix that order of food up, honey. They'll bring it out soon."

 

Touch gives a quizzical look at Orange. "I know this may sound like a ridiculous question, but what is a drawing room? I could imagine both Miss Night and Miss Dew Drop drawing a special picture. Is that close to what a drawing room actually is?"

Shade yawns and smiles as she walks in after making sure everything was packed and sent to the manor. She giggles at Touch's question "A drawing room is like a large living room, you remember where we all went from the infirmary? That's the drawing room dear" she says as she sits down at the all too familiar table.

 

Candy nods "you'll also have to help her deal with the morning sickness"

Touch giggles with a blush, as she scratches the side of her muzzle. "When you put it that way, that makes a lot of sense. I honestly never knew the drawing room was another name for the living room. Also, hello again, mother. It's good to see you. How are you and was everything shipped here okay?" She asks while walking over to Shade and hugs her.

 

Dynamo chuckles, but nods at Candy's and Chocolate's remark. "I guess I got my work cut out for me, huh. Thanks for letting me know on what to expect. I guess other things will show up in time, but I know Orange and I will be okay."

 

Quick yawns while entering the dining hall. He stretches his arms and wings, before sitting next to his wife. "That ain't the half of it, son. It's never truly easy, but the end result is worth it. You two will have the most beautiful children Equestria has ever seen. There will be other symptoms, but I know you'll both make it through."

 

Step smiles and kisses her husband's cheek. "Good evening, dear. Did you have a nice nap?" She asks as he nods, while returning the kiss. "I sure did, honey. I feel pretty rejuvenated. I feel like I can take on the world. Okay, not really, but I'm feeling well rested." He wraps an arm around his wife's shoulder and pulls her close. He nuzzles her while intertwining their tails together.

Shade smiles and nods "Good to see you too dear, and yes, everything has been packed and moved here" she says then looks to Dynamo and Orange "Oh yes, Arcie wanted me to give you your books and work for the rest of the semester" she says, "I've had them put in your room"

 

Orange looks up and smiles at Shade "T-thank you big sister, I look forward to spending time with you" she says with a cute giggle

 

Shade smiles "I am too little sister, but well with what little time I have to myself, my work is a harsh mistress" she giggles

 

Orange tilts her head and Chocolate laughs "My angel is an innocent mare, miss Shade" he says then looks to Orange "what your older sister means, is that her work demands a lot of her time"

 

Orange nods and returns to her omelette

Touch smiles and nods. "That's good to know. Thank you for the update on everything, mother. I'm so glad you and I are able to live here now." She says with a giggle. Dynamo frowned at the mention of books for the semester, but chuckles and smiles. "Thank you, aunt Shade. That's really kind of you to do that for us. We'll probably check the books out at a later time. With everything going on, as well with summer, there's not much time for books at the moment. Although, it doesn't hurt to do some school work to lessen the work load."

 

Touch smiles at Orange's cute reaction. "She's just so adorable. She really doesn't know about my mother's work, does she?" She asks as Step nods while walking over to her sister. "Yes and I think it's best it stays that way. The only thing our children know is that she works for Miss Luna. It's best she doesn't know, so it doesn't scar her in any way." She leans in while whispering to Touch. Quick nods at his son's response. "That's a good idea, son. Just make sure you don't rush through the work. You don't want to make a mistake and not notice anything. You have time, but make sure to use the time wisely." He says as Dynamo nods. Quick then smiles as he finishes getting his dinner and sits back down.

Shade nods and smiles before sitting down and eating what the cooks had brought out for her, she looks to Quick Fix and nods "You are right there son, no point in taking away her innocence" she says, digging into her simple meal and sipping on a glass of soda, "Touch, sweetheart you know you can get your dinner, you know, right?" she asks with a small smile before she sees her own mother walk in with  Sal, she smiles "Good evening mother, evening Sal" she says before resuming her dinner.

 

Luna giggles and nuzzles Sal "Come now dear, Sal may very well become your father if he ever gets the courage up to propose to me" she says in a teasing manner, gently poking Sal in the side.

 

Orange giggles at the display between the three before a cook comes out with a family size pizza for her with all her toppings she had picked out, which made her giggle with even more glee before she politely and cutely thanks the cook and begins to dig into her own dinner.

 

The cook smiles "such a cute little mare, it'll be a pleasure to cook for her all the time" she says as she passes Chocolate and Candy who smile at her and nod in agreement.

Quick Fix chuckles and nods. "Well all have that innocent nature at one point. Then we all have that one friend that likes to ruin said innocent mind. It's always a tragic day when that happens." Quick looks at everyone with a calm, yet neutral expression, before laughing and shaking his head. "I'm just kidding everypony. Well for the most part anyway. I remember my friends in high school tried to give bad references and everything and ruined my innocence. I guess that's why I'm such a dork when it comes to jokes nowadays. It all comes full circle now, so you all know of my secrets." He gave a dramatic look, before taking a bite of his dinner.

 

Touch nods and begins to fill up her plate. "Oh, I know mother. I just wasn't that hungry to be honest. Seeing all this food though is making me hungry." She giggles as she sits down and begins eating her light dinner. Soon enough, Dew Drop and Night entered the dining hall. Dew held Night's hand while resting her head on her girlfriend's shoulder. "E-Evening, everypony. Glad to know y-you all are doing okay. Dinner smells good. Anything s-special for tonight?" She asks while sniffing the different smells of food in the air.

 

Step giggles and nods. "Maybe Sal is getting cold feet. That, or he's waiting for the right time to make the proposal happen. Either way, I think you two are a pretty cute couple. I think Sal would be nice as Shade's father, don't you think sister?" She asks as Touch nods. "With both of their professions being closely tied together, I think there will be plenty of father/daughter family bonding."

 

Dynamo's eyes shrank slightly at the sudden appearance of Orange's pizza. He looks at all the toppings and whistles in surprise. "Now that's what I call a pizza. I'm surprised the cooks could make a pizza that big. That's still very impressive." He says as the cooks began to leave.

Luna nods "Some of us are just better at keeping our innocence than the rest" she says as she runs a hand through Orange's mane and smiles at her "Don't even think about doing any homework just yet sweetie, you've got lots on your plate already, and I mean figuratively as well as literally" she giggles and sits next to Sal, nodding at Step's remark "I'm guessing at waiting for the right time, also not wanting to take the spotlight from the two already engaged ponies here" she says and smiles.

 

Shade chuckles and nods "According to what I've seen tonight, pizza, omelette and whatever we wish" she chuckles again and nuzzles her daughter "Well order anything you want sweetie"
