@@DwhitetheGamer,

They're basically ghosts, not nature spirits. They can't really do much except kinda hang out. Most of any energy they produce comes from either the Widow (who isn't of any mind to 'bless' anyone at all, let alone Copper, who she finds laughably pathetic) or Mori's abilities herself, but that's mainly her using their residual energy through her unique connection. Copper gave them a direct question while in an obviously distressed state, thus the response. It's not something they make a habit of doing to anyone but Mori.

I mean, I'm not sure what you're expecting otherwise They know about as much about Equestria as Mori herself does, and any 'protection' that they would grant would come from Mori's usage of their ectoplasmic selves. Heck, compared to Copper's shindig, she's probably gonna be the one that needs protecting rather than the other way around.

And, if nothing else, they're still irritated at Copper for being an open enough target to have Widow attempt to nom him and, thus, have Mori respond in a quite painful fashion to keep that from happening, so the likelihood of them responding directly anyways was low to begin with. Can't do much but hold grudges unreasonably in their current state.

@@The Down Trotten,

Mori's doesn't even know Celestia's more than a legend, as the baroness, the only one to have been to Equestria before, hasn't deigned to tell her. And one of her pupils is right here. This could get interesting.

In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God, hovering above? At least it is true, that man has no control... Even over his own will.
