Which new character pairings would you like to see starring together?

It can be hard to say sometimes when characters share an episode to say if this has happened yet when characters can have big supporting roles or it is a purely ensemble episode. So you can really put what you like. Well maybe not something like Pinkie/Rarity which we have certainly have had. Some other characters could be starring too in your hypothetical episode so some minor characters together could work. You can put episode ideas too for fun   

 

5. Rarity/Twilight. I guess you could say that look Before You Sleep was one or some other episode where they interacted a lot but I do not feel they have had a proper starring episode together. I would like a map one for them dealing with some magical issue.

 

4. Inspired by the newest episode Gilda/Gabby. They would be great contrast to each other. With Twilight maybe helping with some issue in Griffinstone.

 

3. Cadanze/Shining Armour. Set when they met and with a backstory about how Cadenze became and alicorn. It could also have a framing device to present and be a Hearths and Hooves episode.

 

2. Celestia/luna. Set in past with Starswirl and maybe with more alicorns. Do I need to say more? No I do not and it would be number 1 but I have a feeling it will never happen...

 

1. Pinkie/Fluttershy. Cant believe we have not had this one either yet. They worked so well together in Buckball season, which was an ensemble show. Maybe an episode where Pinkie is asking Fluttershy help her sister Marble to be more assertive/accomplish something now that Fluttery has progressed a lot. I want to see if Marble has a special sense too like Pinkie and Maud...

Spike and Pinkie Pie since their dynamic would lend well to the boke and tsukkomi routine.

Discord and Pinkie Pie due to them both being fun loving jokesters.

Fluttershy and Spike.

The only time the every had any sort of meaningful interaction was in episode one.

I feel like never getting a followup on that was a pretty big missed opportunity for the writers.

Plus I really wanted the whole Dragons of Dazzle Island book to have been made into an episode.

That book also touches upon another character pairing that I would like to see more of, which would be Fluttershy and Rarity.

The two of them are my favorites of the mane 6 in that particular order, and I would enjoy seeing them star in an episode together if only for that reason.

But they also haven't had a lot of time to interact outside of Green isn't Your Color and Filli Vanilli.

Twilight/Rarity - This pairing hasn't happened yet, why?

 

Twilight/Applejack - This pairing hasn't happened either yet. Unless you count Applebuck Season.

 

Fluttershy/Spike - Like cmarston1 said, they had a great interaction in the first episode! I can't believe these two never had an episode together yet, and yet Spike gets two episodes with Rarity.

 

Spike/CMC - I've been wanting this pairing for a looooong time!

 

CMC/Starlight - Cause why not?

 

Discord/Starlight - It would be nice to see how Discord feels about another reformed villain having more attention from the Mane Six than him!

Definitely, Pinkie/CMC. The best way for this to happen is if neither of them get an episode very early in Season 7 (that is, if it ever gets confirmed).

 

The way I see it, almost every time Pinkie Pie or the Crusaders get their respective starring roles, whatever comes next is always the other, like in Hearts and Hooves Day (217) and A Friend in Deed (218), Too Many Pinkie Pies (303) and One Bad Apple (304), Crusaders of the Lost Mark (518) and The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows (519), The Gift of the Maud Pie (603) and On Your Marks (604), and Buckball Season (618) and The Fault in Our Cutie Marks (619).

 

As long as this doesn't happen next season, there's a better chance we can see a Pinkie/CMC episode.

I would say that Just for Sidekicks was Spike/CMC episode even if they did not excatly chat much.

Yeah that's why I want an actual Spike/CMC episode. CMCs pretty much only played a supporting role, not a main role like Spike and the pets.
