the goblin sighed and thought about, then it put a recording in of him telling the new ponies about their job, cut it off, and said, "the dead is coming back to life."

The figure smiled and said, "Good, now follow me out of the vent and do not try anything funny."

Kyubi's eyes widened as she realized what the animatronic was telling her. "So, you're doing all of this because you and the others are restless spirits inhabiting the bodies of animatronics?" She asked. That still didn't exactly answer her first question, but figured that it was as close as she was going to get.

Maia knew that there was little she could do, so she just did as she was told and followed the figure.  "At least the others are safe. Hopefully they can find a way out of here." She thought to herself. The gryphon didn't look at the animatronic, though. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing the partially defeated look in her eye.

the goblin said with of his head, "Yes. No. They lose their mind. I remember. This animatronic for kids and to help find stuff."

The figure got out of the vent and said, "Let's go get your friend, the siren,  I think she's done baking and all."  Then he started to head towards the pool.

Maia's eyes widened and knew that she had to do something now, otherwise she and Grace were goners. The gryphon then began to look for anything she could use to disable the animatronic, but was unable to as she followed the animatronic. He would probably notice if she tried anything anyway. "Please, just leave her." She said.

Kyubi nodded and thought over what the animatronic had said for a few moments before responding. "I understand." She said, as she sat down by the chair. ""So that's why you decided to bring me here instead of turning me into one of you." A slight smile then played across Kyubi's muzzle.

The figure laughed and said, "Why would I do that? The spider is worth more than you." When it got to the pool, it picked up Grace by the neck and draped her over its shoulder

the goblin nodded and said as it was checking the camera, "Anything else you want to ask."

Kyubi shook her head and looked at the animatronic. "Not really. I think I've asked enough questions." She said, smiling slightly. At least now the bat pony knew that she was safe for the time being. The bat pony then began to look around the room, not going to far from the desk.

Maia glared at the animatronic and decided to do something risky. The gryphon then attempted to push the animatronic into the pool and remove Grace from his shoulder at the same time. "Because water and electricity don't mix." She said. Maia knew she could easily be knocked out by the robot, but it was the least she could do to save the siren.

the figure didn't expect to be pushed it lost its balance and went splashing into the water. the water worked on it, but didn't completely kill it. the figure headed towards the two, but slowly cause of the water.

Kyubi could hear the goblin animatronic flipping through a few papers and her curiosity got the better of her. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you reading?" The bat pony asked, tilting her head to look at the paper. Based on the sounds the paper made, it was probably a relatively old book.

Maia hadn't expected the animatronic to live, but at least he seemed a bit slower. The gryphon then put Grace on her back and ran into the hallway. Of course, she was also slowed by the added weight and the fact that she would have to balance the siren on her back so she wouldn't fall off.

the goblin said, "Fantasy book. Been reading the series. For. Years."

The animatronic got out of the water, but was still sparking. After chasing the two down for a bit, it said, "Great, I'll find you again after I get myself fixed."  Then he headed towards the private area.

Maia sighed as she entered a separate room and set Grace on a chair. The gryphon then sat down next to the siren and closed her eyes. "Great. I guess we have another animatronic out to kill us." She thought to herself. It was strange how Grace was asleep through all of that, but she didn't really think about it that much.

Kyubi nodded slightly and smiled. "That's nice. I can't really read because I was born blind, but I always enjoyed listening to those kind of stories." She said. The bat pony then glanced at the pages that the animatronic was reading, before glancing at the door. She was also wondering how long the animatronic would keep her in the room, but decided not to ask about that.

Grace groaned as she opened her eyes to see that the ceiling was different. She fell flat on her stomach. Then she noticed Maia was sitting there. She said as she gathered her strength, "What happened the last thing I remember is being in the pool looking for a way out."

The goblin nodded and said, "That sucks."

Kyubi shrugged slightly and turned her attention back to the animatronic next to her. "You get used to it after a while. There are times where I wish I could see, but not often." She said. The bat pony then heard her stomach growl and a light blush covered her cheeks. "You wouldn't happen to have anything to eat, would you? It's been a while since I last ate."

Maia turned to look at Grace and sighed. "You fell asleep and I got caught by an animatronic that wanted to turn us into one of them." She said. "I pushed him into the pool and seemed to do some damage. After that, I grabbed you and ran." The gryphon was still a bit scared from the whole encounter, but tried not to let it show.

the goblin got up, headed to his secret room and grabbed a food can. it came back, opened the can and said as it poured the can into another bowl, "Here."

Grace nodded, then tried again to get, but fell back down. She said as she blushes from embarrassment, "Could you help me. We need to find Kyubi and get out of here, but my limbs aren't responding really well

Maia nodded and put Grace on her back, before exiting the room and continuing on her way through the building. She was a bit worried about Grace, but figured that it was probably nothing. "Yeah. Let's just hope that thing didn't get her first." She said. "I don't think the other animatronics are as active, as well."

Kyubi nodded and it didn't take long for her to eat her fill. The bat pony made sure not to eat to fast, though. When she finished, the bat pony felt a bit lethargic and laid on the ground, "Thanks." She said, a slight smile spread across her lips as she relaxed. "So, how long will I be staying here?"

Kyubi found it strange that the animatronic hadn't answered her question, but decided not to bring it up. The bat pony knew based off their previous interactions that the animatronic would probably try to keep her in the room. Thankfully, she had hidden the whistle in the desk. Kyubi then began to run a hoof along the rope, seeing how loose it was.

Maia nodded and came to a fork in the hallway. "Yeah. I guess they all shut down or something. If that's the case, we shouldn't really have to worry, aside from that other animatronic. The gryphon then took the right hallway, hoping to find an exit or safety.

The goblin grabbed the rope and said as it pulled on it, "No. It's. Keeping. You. Alive." It looked the whistle, but couldn't find. So it put its finger to its mouth and let out a loud whistle

Grace nodded and said, "It's probably or something. 

 

the hall led to the boiler room, which was covered in actual cobwebs
