So recently, having a random spurse of free time, I finished watching season 6 of The Walking Dead on Netflix. Those who are also all caught up until the 23rd, I want to know what you thought on it. Most importantly, who do you think Negan killed?

 

Personally, the season overall, it's great. I hated when they stayed in one place for a while at the prison, because it seemed a little boring and stale 80% of the time for me. But staying in Alexandria just let's so much more go on it seems.

Something my sister and I argued on was if Negan just beat somebody half to death, or if he did hit them until they were completely dead. I think he did beat them to death, personally. But what my friends who watch the show, me, and my sister argue about is who he killed. I don't think it was Carl based on the one "Feed his other eye to his dad" line, because the basically tried to pull that earlier with if Glenn died. I think it was Glenn though. Evidence being, when the victim gets hit, you can hear a girl scream, and my best guess would be it was Maggie. Also, in the comic series, Negan does pick Glenn as his random victim, and with Maggie having a baby, it would make the plotline for her interesting dealing with all of these problems she has.

But, I wouldn't put it past them from doing something different from the comic to keep it interesting and unpredictable. What do you think about all of it, and who do you think Negan killed?

Probably Glenn.  He dies in the comic series by Negan I have been told.  Then again, they might switch it up and kill off somebody else.  The fan theories are out of control for this one but I'm going to vote Glenn for getting kicked off.

Probably Glenn.  He dies in the comic series by Negan I have been told.  Then again, they might switch it up and kill off somebody else.  The fan theories are out of control for this one but I'm going to vote Glenn for getting kicked off.

 

Yeah, more than likely, they will switch it up and do something nobody'd expect. I'd bet some money saying that he doesn't even kill anybody kneeling. It'd be a bit anticlimactic if he like killed one of his own men to try to scare them or something.

 

I tried to do some detective work. I made a diagram of where everybody is in line in order to see his positioning in front of the RV to guess who it might be (ie If the RV was in the right of the frame, it was someone from Negan's right side and vice versa), but you can't even see the RV in frame at the last shot. I also tried to count his eenie meenie minie moe thing with the people, but nothing came of that. They legit have me so intrigued on who was actually killed. It's a really well-made episode imo.

If he does not kill anybody then the fans would riot.  There would be too much of a buildup for nothing if nobody dies and there would not be much of a point to hate Negan if he does not do anything.  He was supposed to be one of the major villains so it is almost guaranteed that he kills somebody.  Not a bad episode but the monologue at then end went on a bit too long in my opinion and after a few minutes I was waiting for it to end.  They set it up so that it is impossible to find out who is going to die so I don't see much of a point in investigating it too much, best to just wait to see what happens.

True. I just hope it's not Glenn, Daryl, or Carl, and I'm 99.9% sure it won't be Rick. Now that I think about it, the last shot was looking up at him at an angle, so it is probably someone kneeling down. But other than that, yeah there isn't much given to investigate it or look for clues to anything. I can't wait for the episode to come out.

Im kinda afraid, that they will kill that one dude off, who is pretty new to the series, because hes forgettable. I dont even remember his name.

 

Im afraid that they dont want to kill some of the older main Characters, because they might think, they lose viewers if one of the beloved actors doesnt appear anymore.

 

It almost seems to me, that they only kill characters off, who arent popular enough or just appeared a few Episodes before.

I was actually gonna praise them, for killing Glenn, while he was eaten by Walkers in that one Episode...but of course he survived.

And for a second i thought, they actually have the guts to kill some of the main characters.

 

For me personally the show became a little boring after i realized, that nothing will happen to the main characters anyway.

 

But if they actually have the courage, to kill Glenn or even Daryl or someone like that, i would be positively surprised, because than i would actually fear again for the main characters.

But as it stands, i dont think they kill some of the main cast off, because it would lose them money.

But if they actually will, my interest in walking dead would be reactivated again.

Just edited the topic title for you, just to warn others for spoilers.

 

I'm kinda nervous and excited to see who it is. I was pretty annoyed with the cliff hanger, but I'll be happy as long as the death is a hard hitting one. I personally think it will be Glenn (because of the comics) or Abraham (idk, maybe because of the way he didn't go down easily). As long as it isn't a irrelevant side character, I'll be happy.

Oh man if they killed Daryl then there would be a real riot lol.  That is one issue with the later episodes is that they don't really kill off the original characters who have been around for multiple seasons now.  I used to love the show so much because they took out main characters without warning but now they just get rid of the newer ones.  I think they might kill a main character off this time though since there is such a long lead up to the a possible death.  They would probably lose viewers anyways if none of the main characters dies since people would be disappointed with the lead up.
