gaming Your views of MMORPGs

And by that i mean mostly World of Warcraft. I will admit its a greatly made game, i even prefer the modern one compared to when i tried it in 2007. Because its much more helpful now to quest and level up. Because the whole point is to get to the highest level so that you can chill and raid with friends whenever they want too. The leveling and questing isnt the funnest part of the game its when you reach the top.

 

But either way the problem i have with MMORPGs is that to me its too much time consuming. Games like Elder Scrolls for example tends to not feel so time consuming because i feel i dont spend too much time on it just to get to a highest level. Its more just to beat it for fun as a overall goal of exploration. With wow it feels much more like a obsession. Its like if you like Oblivion so much that you are willing to spend hours upon hours, and restart it again hours upon hours. Maybe its a mind trick but i just dont have patience to trick my mind to this. I have a character in WOW but i dont play it.

I played Metin2 and 4Story in 6th to 8th grae, always for 1 week and then stopped and had giant break, then made new character XD

half of a year ago i downloaded WoW on some private server and played to levl 20 then stopped

now i play seriously finally, right now i have lvl 50 with my friend and we go dungeons and exp normally

i love those games, its very very chill

I played Final Fantasy XI at a longest time and Learned a lot from people there, but the players in the game are nice and they always have a battle plan for certain fights and not to mention the call outs for certain fights like voidwatch, abyssea, and dynamis. In pre-adoulin update, I always solo limbus at SE apollyon as SMN/WHM, but the clear time may depend on my summoning avatar's physical accuracy and attack. My Overall View on Final Fantasy XI is pretty much excellent.

 

I've played maple story since 2006, but things aren't looking too good for the game such as too much issues going on, it takes too long to fix the issues which is that the staff and GMs are biding their time, too many hackers & botters, a lack of GM activity, and security, too much solo play, and certain bosses are hard to kill now. My overall view on maple story is terrible even though I did write a bad review on the game through steam. The Game didn't even teach me anything compared to what final fantasy XI taught me.
