How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Tried it; didn't like it; decided I did like it; got pulled in; haven't escaped since. Hi poniverse! For a long time I've wanted to find a more active pony community than Equestria Daily, where I'm kind of a lurker. I took a tour around before I signed on and I've been impressed by your discussions. I wanna get in on them! About me: I'm a semi-accomplished fanfic author. I'd done the newbie artists' training grounds twice, but twenty recognizable ponies does not an artist make. I like cats and dogs; cake and pie. I don't have a best poni, but if I had to pick I'd say Luna as interpreted by the official comics. There is also redlightponyville which is more to my tastes in roleplaying. This forum is great for actual discussion on various topics though, the people here are so articulate!
