ManaMinori 4,145 January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 (edited) OK, for the longest time, I have been seeing two FiM DVD's in stores, staying on shelves, while newer releases (like Everypony's Favorite Frights, Friends and Family, Games Ponies Play, etc.) have come and gone. These two DVD's- Friendship Express, and Adventures in the Crystal Empire, from 2012, have been seen across every Target and Walmart that I've been to, and sell for $4 a pop. Now, the price is fantastic, I admit, but, frankly, I tire of seeing them, and hate that I can't find more recent releases, or even older releases in store, other than these two. Why the hay are these two specific DVD's kicking around on the shelf in every store, for so long? Are they selling, to justify it, or merely stagnating? StitchandMLPlover 930 January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 I'm not sure but I would guess the other titles sell out and these are just lying around. 1 My short independent films about physical disability! http://cripvideoproductions.tumblr.com
Glacies Frost 428 January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 Tell me which specific episodes are on the discs. If they're less popular episodes, that would explain it.

If the sales are that bad, then Hasbro should take note and just pull them 1 Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub
Choros Isorropai 409 January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 i would have to start this almost as a rant, but be sure, its more of fustration than irritation... i have not seen any mlp fim dvds of any kind in my walmart store...sigh... and the "toy" selection is almost as bare, as there was a 3 month time i did not see their stock move, unless they stock the same items exactly, like a fast food joint... they had exactly 4 trixies of the $10 size, and one cheralee of the same size... mix box mini bags and some of the eqg and mlp fim toys. (this may be due to the lack of "demand" within my area) i grabed the small pinky and small dash as soon as i saw them, along with a big dash and big apple jack, but these were bought over a 6 month period... so 4 plush in 6 months.... 1 plush every ~45 days... could you see anyone of any fandome puting up with that?!?!? ... but i digress from the rant now, i have looked on line, but suplies are still slim to none... i do not know for sure, but hasbro could be trying to strangle the product, to prevent some of their other products from suffering from demegraphic shift... by lowering supply for mlp, then "tranceformers" will do better (for example). i do plan on geting in contact with hasbro, in the future, to potentialy broker a deal to saticfy my fandom needs... untill then i just watch the shelf (all 2 ft by 2 ft of its space) for what mlp i want to get (btw i want all mane 6 b4 i go "extras") OC: https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/choros-isorropai-r9669 Blog: https://mlpforums.com/blog/3158-poetry-simply-that/ The unasked questions are what bother me, not the answers. sweetolebob18 728 January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 I bought the season DVDs from Amazon. They have Seasons 1-5 available at very reasonable prices. Plus, they usually give free shipping for large orders & it comes within a week. Or, you can download them from YouTube for $2 an episode (IIRC) or get them free from Dailymotion & burn your own disc.

Choros Isorropai 409 January 10, 2017 Share January 10, 2017 Maybe hasbro is not partnering with wal mart, check toys R us. ALSO go to a convention! thats what I am going to do! I have come to the same conclusion, but $$$ is an issue. I am currently trying to secure myself, so that I have $ to take from $$$, to do things I want to do... (like drive to places, go "do things".... ect) I must say now that it is because of my growing fondness for My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. as I live in a town, not big or diverse, so I have limited accessability to stuff. (also may explain Walmart) more to the point, I do live near seattle (and thus conventions) ... now you see the "need" for securing my $$$... why does "love" need money? rofl 1 OC: https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/choros-isorropai-r9669 Blog: https://mlpforums.com/blog/3158-poetry-simply-that/ The unasked questions are what bother me, not the answers.
