TheAnimatorOfficial 567 February 7, 2017 Share February 7, 2017 Yes obviously little kids are meant in mind, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if this film was also aimed at those who grew up with the series, kind of like The Lego Batman Movie, with an age of 11-13. cmarston1 5,959 February 9, 2017 Share February 9, 2017 It is most likely going to be aimed at the same demographic that the show is aimed just like every other animated movie based on a cartoon series.

I just said that. But I also said that they will make it appeal to older audiences as well. You can do both without alienating the other.

They should. Disney wouldn't be the monster of animated films if not where for appealing to adults also . No seriously, how many movies exclusively aimed at children were shown at theaters, much less being critically acclaimed ? Sig by Discords
Olsen1987 133 February 10, 2017 Share February 10, 2017 Just like the show, the grownups like the show even for what it is, same would apply to the movie. But i think there will indeed be some references that only those who have grown a bit will understand. Glencoco 15 February 10, 2017 Share February 10, 2017 I just hope that they make it great for kids, but super enjoyable for the parents and older audiences so everyone has a good time.
