Plonkett 345 February 23, 2017 Share February 23, 2017 With the movie coming out later this year, do you think that in a few months down the road, that a good portion of the fanimation community will start using Toon Boom Harmony? Duo Cartoonist have already shown what the program is capable of, and I'm sure quite a few others will follow suit.
GeekySonic 1,152 February 23, 2017 Share February 23, 2017 I'm actually voice-acting for a fan animation that is being animated with Toon boom Harmony. Check out my voice-acting demo reels on Casting Call Club, if you'd like.

GeekySonic 1,152 February 23, 2017 Share February 23, 2017 Nice, what is the animation called? FrankenTwi's Monster. It's still in the early stages of development, so it probably won't come out for another year (unless the animator is sick skilled. I don't know the ins and outs of animation). Check out my voice-acting demo reels on Casting Call Club, if you'd like.
Fhaolan 4,494 February 23, 2017 Share February 23, 2017 Possibly. Unfortunately it's a subscription service, not a one-time purchase, so it will only involve fans willing to pay at least $180 a year just to use the most basic version. $1,000 a year for the full package. Mentally Advanced Series used to be animated in Flash. But now they've switched to Toon Boom Harmony. And the animation has definitely improved. I don't know much about animation though. But from what I understand the software is much easier to use than Flash. Signature made by Kyoshi.
TheAnimatorOfficial 567 February 23, 2017 Share February 23, 2017 No, because it requires a crapload of money and time compared to Flash. I think it will be reserved for long term projects like those at Duo Cartoonist.
