ggg-2 3,553 February 28, 2017 Share February 28, 2017 Shining Armor takes his job seriously, but is very laidback and casual offduty, coming off as sensetive and even somewhat childish. (comic books, O&O, ant farms, train sets and Brutus Force, anyone?) How do you think he trains his men? Don't be a nerd. Join the herd!
Ganondorf8 11,322 February 28, 2017 Share February 28, 2017 I'm sure he trains them with a stern outlook so as to ensure that they are capable of defending the Crystal Empire at a moments notice, but it seems there are some issues that have caused Shining Armour to suffer from headaches. Some of the guards behave like children, arguing over petty things that embarrass him and force Cadance to have to deal with it, such as what happened in Friends Forever #30 for example. Sovereign Leader Rarity 12,007 February 28, 2017 Share February 28, 2017 By giving them a better Captain of the Royal guard. Like Cadance for example. That girl gets stuff done!
cmarston1 5,959 February 28, 2017 Share February 28, 2017 Hopefully he is able to separate his totally softy side from his business side and remain professional within his field. Because otherwise, Equestria is in trouble.
Denim&Venöm 19,151 February 28, 2017 Share February 28, 2017 Perhaps he doesn't. Just because he commands doesn't mean he trains new recruits.
Luigi 7,870 March 1, 2017 Share March 1, 2017 How the hell do people see S.A. as childish? That makes no sense. He probably trains his men in a similarly fashion to how Optimus Prime treats the Autobots.

BlueStreak98 828 March 2, 2017 Share March 2, 2017 Remember, Bob Ross was a master sergeant in the US Air Force. You can be laid back off duty and still be super serious about your job.
