KatonRyu 1,036 March 31, 2017 Share March 31, 2017 Others have said things along these lines, but I'll go ahead and add my own views anyway. I think a same-sex relationship, hell, any relationship does not necessarily mean one will always be the traditional man and the other the traditional woman. I think who fills what role depends on the moment more than anything. For instance, both AJ and Rainbow Dash have jobs and hobbies that aren't really 'girly' but both are still very much girls. At any given moment, one of them might act more traditionally masculine or feminine but that doesn't mean that those are the roles they'll always have. The same holds true for heterosexual relationships. In some ways my girlfriend is much more masculine than I am, but in others she isn't at all, and that's fine. I guess my bottom line is that I think the traditional gender roles are outdated and that it's rather pointless to force any relationship to conform to those obsolete notions.
