No indication, no movement, no sound. In their sleep, suddenly, four kids were hoisted from their world, to arrive in a new one. Taken from their various locations, they were spread far and wide throughout a new world. The Monster World.By the time the kids woke up, they would have no recollection of how they got there. They would be carrying only what they had with them, otherwise left entirely alone...

The girl slowly regained consciousness, her head throbbing for some reason. She sat up and took a look around, having absolutely no idea where she was, or how she got there.

She just remembered playing video games, and then she woke up.

Speaking of which, her portable console was tight in her fist, and it seemed to be all she was carrying apart from her clothes.

She slowly got onto her feet, holding her head in her free hand while she wondered where she was...

wshhh wshhh went the waves that softly hit the beach, the wind howled as it blew through the broken shells on the beach. A young boy was laying down and started to come to his senses. His entire world seemed almost upside down as he looked around "I was... Just in my room, wasn't I?" he thought as he noticed he still had a pen in his hand. He was doing his homework just before arriving into this... Where was he? A beach so far he could see... And, the coast wasn't too much help. He stood up and almost fell down again as his sense of balance was off. He thought of what he should do now... Wherever he was.

Given to the winter snow of the mountains, A girl, ill protected by the winds that cut through to the bone, snapped her eyes open. The blotted sky, an unfamiliar sight to her, as was the cold.

She forced herself to sit upright, leaving her indention in the snow. A print that, thanks to the ongoing storm, would fill in and fade from existence. Taking a gander at her surroundings, the girl, of dark complexion that hinted at extended exposure to the sun, could only gleam stone, snow, and lifelessness. She placed her palms to both of her ears, and eyes frantically shot about the immediate area around her. Now on knees, she tore into the white piles around her, searching for a precious item that had apparently been lost...

In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God, hovering above? At least it is true, that man has no control... Even over his own will.

She refused to be dragged away from her blanket, her cover. Instead of simply giving up on pulling the child into the monster's domain, however, it simply allowed her that article to come with her. When she fell, she landed in the sand, and immediately hid underneath the cover, denying to herself the reality of what just occurred--the black fabric a stark contrast, laid bare against the land for all to see.

After a period long enough to be considered a nap, she called out, in a timid, fragile tone, praying for the familiar voice to reply to her. "...Edgar?"

And only the whistling winds gave their response, as she cowered under her blanket...
