Plus the famous PIXAR lamp short animation was originally completed in 1986 and it was literally the highest quality animation that was created for the time plus it took a couple of years of work to create it. Anyways that animation you mentioned I did randomly come across it once and I think it's just one of the artistic abstract projects that was created back then. Like animators back then often made the animations abstract and artistic as computer animation was really like just a super advanced type of artwork back then! Though it's also a mechanism that actually was very important as it kept me locked to my devices to I could stay in contact with you back when we were human!
