Basically, it's about a team of ambassadors on Equus traveling through a wormhole to another galaxy as they have already explored theirs. Their spaceship ends up in the Milky Way Galaxy, where Humans and another race called Zeons are at war. The humans are losing, but they have a good cause. The Zeons are the bad guys. So the team of ambassadors end up helping the humans fight against the Zeons.
