Last year, HBO launched Westworld, a remake of the 1973 Michael Chrichton movie of the same name, and I instantly fell in love with it. Anyone else watching it and looking forward to Season 2 like me?

I did, and for once, liked it. The multithreaded narrative, which became apparent only at the ending of the season, was rather novel and sometimes confusing but, all in all, the series tackles some interesting moral questions. I also liked the amount of details in it, both on screen and in writing.

And of course, Sir Anthony Hopkins was great in it.

Don't forget about Thandie Newton, who in my opinion stole the show as Maeve.

I came for Anthony Hopkins and, well I forgot the name of the actor in the black suit. Stayed for the complexity.  But yeah, Maeve was an interesting,  if OP character.

Yep, that's the guy. I can't believe I actually forgot his name though...

I will miss Hopkins in Season 2 and, frankly, I am a bit worried where the second season will go,  with the way the first ended and all. I liked the ongoing, subtle, but mostly not so subtle critique of the human condition, that were woven into the narrative. With the cards on the table,  the series may shift into something different.

Edit: Elisabeth called him William.
