I have adblocker, I have barely any ads at all when beeing in the internet, it's nice^^

I don't believe in add blocker. Site owners need to make money too or at least break even.

I mean I am accessing this site for free, the least I can do it view a few adds so they make something.

I have an Ad Blocker, but have it disabled for this site and "willing to see ads" selected. There seems to be a few dubious ones among them, but I am a grown adult and can live with that (but reserve the right to bitch about them here, given the admins CAN do something about that)

I agree it's not appropriate, though I don't think it's MLPF's fault. That's just what Google sees as appropriate to show, apparently.

Either way, that's an ad coming from Google, so ask them. :D

There's an 'X' button in the upper right corner, so you can close it - You can select the reason of why you've closed that add - There's the 'Ad was inappropriate' option available. Sending these reports affect the way of how it's filtering these adds, so it decreases the chances of seeing that kind of stuff in future.

That's true, though sometimes it tends to throw random things, so that you could discover new things. Sometimes I see ads of sites, that I don't recall seeing before. Though for the most part it works like you've described, if you saw something once, it will invade you in ads afterwards.

If I remember AdSense (Google's advertising platform) right, you can block certain categories of ads from being shown on your site. I don't remember where in the AdSense panel it was, but I know it's there.

Not sure if it'd help though.

I haven't seen ads like that much, but ads like that are just wrong. Trying to get people to click for some game that has you install a extension or something.

no alarms, and no surprises.

I use a couple of ad-blocking extensions (one for blocking ads, one for blocking trackers), because unfortunately, some sites I go to have some pretty nasty ads (porn and/or malware). They're not bad sites, but they just use unfortunate ad networks.

I'd be willing to whitelist MLPF though.
