Nope. I was already 21 when it came out.

I did play with MLPs early in my childhood, but that was in the early 90s, long before FiM.

I watched FIM when it first aired when I was 13, so kind of? Young teen, not technically a child, but a child by my standards haha. Though I had gotten into MLP several years before then with G3
