When Does The Review Embargo Lift for the Movie?

Hey, guys!

Just wanted to ask if anyone had the answer to a question I’ve been wondering about for a little while now- when will the early reviews for the movie be released to the public? I searched Google for an answer, but I couldn’t find one. For some reason I hardly ever come up with anything when I’m searching for that with any movie.

Anyways, I’m dying to see how well it ends up being received by critics and I love reading reviews, so if anyone here has the answer that’d be fantastic!

Note: Also, if anyone knows about any websites where you can find information regarding review embargos, please let me know.

It depends on the studio. Have you tried contacting any reviewers that you think will review the film?  I would suggest asking them directly. They are allowed to state when an embargo expires.

Very curious about this as well, mainly because the reviews will be the deciding factor if I see the movie or not. Sometimes advanced screenings can be pretty early but it is different for every movie.

Well, I would love to see critics review it, as long as they go into it not expecting the holy grail of movies.

I remember reading an article written by someone saying they saw animator Michel Gagne at the premiere, and that Gagne said the reviewers invited were "enthusiastic" after seeing. But please don't take my word for it, because I forgot where I read it and I can't verify if it's actually true.

That's funny, when I saw Rainbow Rocks in theaters with my friends there were a few bronies there, and we sat in the back middle area and this mom came in with like 3 little girls, looked at us, and made her poor kids sit way in the front row.

IT was tardy to the party!

Funny thing is that they aren't harping about .... ewww Pony stinks. One actually said that they want the film to succeed so that the franchise can get the respect it deserves. 

We need a better PR outfit!
