For the most part a brony's hobby would not be much different outside of the interest to MLP. Really; plenty of bornies are gamers, have interests in philosophy, exercise, sports, or anything of that nature.

This isn't a lifestyle for me. The question seems to presuppose that it is. FiM isn't even in my top ten favorite fictional properties. My hobbies are about as varied as the average person in my demographic and experience, probably moreso.

Pretty much as different as people.

I for instance Teach Martial arts, Practice Archery and Raise goats.

I think it would involve investing the time and money to create derivative works based on the show like the music, art, videos, games, merchandise and other works from the fans.
