Pony portraits (progression)

Hey everybody, it's me, ryma2001 here, today with something a bit different than last time. I wanna show you my improvement in creating simple pony portraits.

Here's the first portrait. It was drawn on March 1st, 2015.

Do you think i'm improving or degrading?

I would say it has been improving, the strokes are better blended and also well shaded. Also, the details on the iris are more, well, detailed than the first one. But of course, that could have just been because of the distance. Either way I think that your skills has improved as a whole.

I don't think any of them are too bad, but there is a definite improvement in the latter portraits, more with the shape/size of the head, it seems much more realistic in the last one when compared to the first one. Overall not bad, I gotta say the expressions on the ponies in the portraits also seem a bit more pronounced than before in the first one, not a bad thing at all!
