I wouldn't say that it sucked, but it could've been much better. Overall, the movie was enjoyable, but most of the mane six didn't play a massive part and the villain was underwhelming. It got mixed reviews, so overall, it's your choice to watch it or not.

Judgement call thing. The animation and backdrops are a thing of beauty, right from the opening titles, and SOME of the songs <gives a HARD look to "you got the beat"> are awesome, as are many of the new characters. The plot now... well, no.
