After 25 years of being under Bandai, the Power Rangers will now go to the company behind the licenses of Marvel and Star Wars, plus the toy company behind GI Joe, Transformers and (ESPECIALLY) My Little Pony

Under the terms of the agreement and in collaboration with Saban Brands, Hasbro will design, produce and bring to market a wide variety of toys, games and role play items inspired by the franchise and its entertainment properties. Hasbro will hold the worldwide rights, excluding Japan and certain other Asian markets, effective as of April 1, 2019.

I mean, as a long time Power Rangers fan, I find this shocking.  Never would I imagine the AMericanized Super Sentai series to be in the same company as Marvel Comics, Star Wars, GI-Joe, NERF, Transformers and ESPECIALLY My Little Pony.

Then again, all those Legacy toys I've acquired throughout the years?  They're now going to be big collector items.

Interesting new development, I wonder what Hasbro's gonna come up with the license. I wonder if this means we'll get some Power Rangers themed Transformers stuff

I doubt it.  But then again, I heard how good a job they do with the Legends line up on the Marvel side.
