Let's just say it does, I'm all for it. Have the members lose their diplomas, have Neighsay thrown in Tartarus, defund all schools that were funded by EEA and force all schools to be self funded. In other words, everyone has a choice of school, no more draconian laws, no more problems, no more stereotyping ponies into doing specific jobs based on their race, no more anti-creature bias(make it a punishable offense).

Only Nieghsay is directly speicist or racist depending on the appropriate word here. I say, it's better just to strip him of his authority and do a through change of the EEA's rules and regulations. With time, people and things change all the time. The important thing is that rules need to be changed to reflect those changes. 

A similar point is brought when talking about film ratings as in this guy's editorial (I recommend watching the bit at 11:05-11:25 to see a similar point to the point I'm trying to make.

 

Besides, we know nothing about the other members of the EEA board so to take their work away from them even though they're not the real source of the problem seems like collateral damage.

It's not really majorly the EEA's fault. Twilight just made mistakes in the process of submitting her school for approval, lost control of some of her students, had a huge accident that almost flatten some ponies, and she was shutdown appropriately. Neighsay besides the offensive creature remarks he made out of emotion in response to the accident, he still had valid criticism about Twilight running a school.

He's the kind of character that not only challenges Twilight's ideology but also her capability of carrying them out. It's been a while for someone else to hold it against Twilight for making mistakes since Celestia.

Neighsay was completely legitimate in closing Twilight school... my only real critique of him was him being racist. The EEA just needs reforming. Celestia and Miss Cheerlie schools seems fine.

I think the EEA is a good thing.
