Since MLP is a rather wholesome show, teaching good morals of friendship and kindness to kids (and remindig us adults of them), and has a history of unrelated pop culture memes and shoutouts, should there be a Mister Rogers Neighborhood tribute episode, since it, too, was a wholesome show toward the target demographic, and in tribute to Mr. Rogers' passing?

How could you guys see MLP handling a full on reference episode to this show?

I think it would be really cool if they did something like that, but it would really depend on the writers to determine how successful the episode would be. Personally I don't think I could judge something like that until I actually see it, as doing so before hand would be a little unfair to it :please:

I don't think they would do a tribute episode, maybe a cameo but that's it, Hasbro wants to sell ITS toys, not bring awareness to some other orginazation that's not its own business.

I have to do better...

rrrrriiiiight, which is why they did a nearly 2 minute scene rip-off from Star Wars (who is owned by Disney) in season 2, referenced Rock and Morty in season 8 (who isn't owned by them, either).....

Hasbro makes the Star Wars toys and was making them at the time, so his point is still valid.

Man, Hasbro shoulda bought Star Wars instead of Disney! The Clone Wars series woulda still been on! Hasbro wouldn't ruin the series - they'd let LucasFilms do their own thing, just as long as they make toy profits! XD

That's going to get a resounding 'To each their own' from me since I liked Rebels more than Clone Wars, and absolutely loved TFA, Rogue One, and The Last Jedi. Solo was what I expected so no rage on that one. On the flip side, Hasbro hasn't been the best steward of their own alien/tech based sci-fi property. Rian Johnson was allowed an immense amount of creative freedom with no interference from Disney, so perhaps interference would have led half of the fandom to enjoy it more?

Back to the Fred Rogers idea. I don't think there is much there to fill an entire episode, but a cameo or a nod to the series would be fun.
