"That only makes it more mysterious to me." Jenna said as she let Oliver's head go "Since it means that the something is clearly something only I have noticed, because if I wasn't, someone would have fallen for you before me for sure."

Oliver shrugged, biting his lip awkwardly. "I dunno what it is either. Maybe you just have better senses for that sort of thing?"

He grinned. "Or maybe you're the only one not put off by whatever it is," he joked.

Jenna grinned "Though I can tell it was clearly a joke, it actually could be the case." she said with thoughtful but humorous tone "After all, my...taste..is different to human females, biggest difference probably being that I wouldn't care less about the looks." she took a second with the taste word because it sounded weird to her ear due to what it also meant. "So it's not that far fetched idea that I would like something that human girls would want to avoid."

"Yeah, I can understand that," Oliver agreed. "Dragons would definitely have different opinions about humans than other humans would."

He grinned and added jokingly, "Though, some humans can be real monsters."

"That I won't disagree with." Jenna agreed, even if it was meant as a joke "After all, I have already told you about an fully human organization filled with monsters." she added shrugging "Anyone can become a monster if they convince themselves that they are the good guys." she grinned at Oliver "Pretty bad joke from your side don't you think, since it was true."

Oliver's grin grew more sombre, and he nodded. "Yeah, awful joke. Humans are easy to convince they're in the right, especially when they have power."

He shrugged. "But it means those below will know better."

"That is probably one of the biggest differences between our species." Jenna said thoughtfully "The convincing they're good I mean." "Because it seems that even the worst humans think they are good, but when it comes to dragons...yes we thing we are right, but we don't act like we are morally good, because we embrace our brutal and what you'd call evil side."

"I guess that's better than pretending you're a good guy," Oliver guessed with a shrug. "At least dragons let you know outright what they plan to do. Humans are more scheming and stuff."

He smiled at Jenna. "I'm glad you're not one of the evil ones though."

"I'm not entirely good either." Jenna replied with a shrug "After all, I originally planned using you and all that." she admitted "And if I'm being fully honest, if you would have caused me problems, I don't know if you'd still be breathing." she looked...blank "If I hadn't fallen for you, you would have very different view on me."

Oliver felt a lump in his chest from hearing Jenna's confession, but he swallowed it down.

"But you didn't do it," he pointed out. "It seems like your better side won out, since we haven't had any problems."

"Well...yeah." Jenna simply replied "But just know you are more exception than a rule." "I don't want to lie to you, so it is important you know that I'm not as innocent as I may seem." "I'm definitely better than most of our kind sure, but I'm no angel."

Oliver nodded slowly. "Well, no one is perfect. Everybody has a little bit of evil inside them. What matters is what side you listen to."

He smiled at her. "And you seem to be leaning toward the good side."

"I just hope I won't prove you wrong." Jenna concluded, she then smiled at Oliver "Thanks for the meal, I think we should start heading to bed now, I'm getting bit tired." she looked towards the window, flash of worry visiting her eyes for fraction of a second.

"No problem," Oliver said with a smile, and frowned as he noticed Jenna looking out the window. Like she was expecting something to be there.

"Don't worry," he said, putting a hand on her shoulder, "I'll make sure no one's sneaking around."

"I appreciate it." Jenna said "But I don't know if that will help me to shake this bad feeling." "It has been bothering me for the whole day, that's why decided to plan everything when I did." "It may not be anything, but please tell me right away if anything seems unusual, just in case." she then started walking toward the bedroom, looking at each window wen she passed them.

Oliver followed Jenna to the bedroom, taking a look out the window as he passed as well. He didn't see anything, thankfully.

"Sounds like you need a distraction from it," he suggested. "Anything you'd like to do before bed?"

"Not really." Jenna said "Besides, a distraction would only work as long as we would be doing it, as the feeling would come back immediately after we stop." "Because this is not like the usual paranoia I have been experiencing." she started going through her backpack and took out few throwing knives and put them next to the bed on her side. "This is instinct." she then took off her outerwear, leaving only the underwear like she did on previous night too.

Oliver's eyes widened when he saw the throwing knives and watched her set them on the table. "Just be careful with those, they look sharp."

He bit his lip and looked at the window. "Well, if someone does show up, I guess they'll be sorry they did, huh?" He smiled.

"That's the plan" Jenna replied, but even though she smiled, she still sounded cautious. she then laid down in the bed "I'd honestly rather have a gun than those, but it's harder to get one in my situation than one would think."

"I can understand that," Oliver agreed, suddenly wishing he had his own gun. "I don't have one either."

He looked at Jenna, a bit of hope in his eyes. "Do you think one would be any good against those guys?"

"I know you don't, and why would you? Your life as been safe until now." Jenna replied
"It's best we could have, sure it would be only effective if they stayed in their human forms, but it's better than nothing." she looked at her knifes on the table "And it would certainly be better than few knifes."

"I dunno," Oliver said with a shrug, "I guess if you're good with the knives it could be just as good as a gun?"

He smiled at her. "You're probably good at using them, otherwise you wouldn't have them, huh?"

"Not really, knife can't compete with sound barrier breaking lead." Jenna said, "And sure, I am slightly better with them than most, but sadly that's not that unique talent among us, since knifes are rather popular choice of weapon due to how easy they are to hide."

"Well yeah, but I heard you can get really good with throwing knives," Oliver explained, "so it's almost as good as a gun. Maybe even better since you can hide it, like you said."

He grinned at Jenna. "You look like you'd be fatal at it."

"There's positives and negatives to everything, but when it comes to fighting trained killers, gun is always the netter option." Jenna said before yawning  "But I appreciate your complimentary confidence, it feels nice when someone believes in you." she smiled.
