"I know, but again, that doesn't have anything to do with me being able to fly here." Jenna said "If I could just leave the city, I wouldn't be here talking with you, in fact, I would have never even appeared on your door." "My original point was that I can't go for a evening flight, because not only do I have killers after me, the risk of being seen is too high"

Oliver frowned, unsure if Jenna was understanding what he was getting at, so decided to just drop the subject. "Alright then."

He looked out the window. "It'd be nice to see you in your full form and flying around though."

"Maybe someday." Jenna said, yawning yet again "And if things go as I wish, you may get more than just see me flying." it was bit vague, she knew that, but she didn't see a reason to go to the details, since even if everything went well, it would be a while until it would happen.

Oliver nodded, smiling at Jenna. He wondered what she meant by that, but figured she was finished talking for now. She looked like she needed sleep.

"I'll hold you up to that," he joked, grinning. "We should probably get some sleep now though."

"Yeah." Jenna said yawning, she wasn't sure why she felt so tired, maybe it was because of the heavy meal during the day, since she wasn't used to it. Since she already was in the bed, if Oliver didn't say anything else, she fell asleep pretty quickly.

Loud noise could be heard outside the bedroom, like something falling down the stairs, followed by slow and heavy steps walking down the stairs, if Oliver was to wake up to this and look at the time, he would know that it was around 6 am, and if he was to look around more closely, he would see that both Jenna and her knifes were gone. If he was to leave the room, he would see two bloody throwing knifes on the floor not far from the room, and in the direction of the stairs he would be able to see a muscular and all the way good looking guy,who looked some years older than him, and was wearing a black full-body suit, wielding a combat knife, walking down the stairs towards slightly bruised up Jenna still in her underwear, wielding one of her throwing knifes.

Oliver was awoken by the noise, and saw Jenna was missing, as well as her knives. Fearing the worst, he leaped out of bed and ran downstairs. He froze when he saw the huge man towering over him, and Jenna stood there with her blades.

"What the--?!" he blurted out, no doubt getting the man's attention.

The guy just grunted and said sounding almost bored "Stay out of this human, I'll deal with you later." he then spoke unknown language to Jenna, but Oliver would most likely recognize a part of what he said, "Ut onimous sergimous". To whatever the guy said, Jenna replied by hissing "Rnesh karr slithis" back, and the guy just snorted and said in English "Language". This whole time the guy had moved towards Jenna while she kept a distance between her and the guy, knife ready to strike towards him.

Oliver bit his lip, heart pounding as he kept his distance. He didn't have any idea of what those two were saying, but judging by everything Jenna had told him so far, he figured it was some kind of dragon language.

He looked around, wondering if any of Jenna's knives had fallen nearby. Maybe he could help her somehow?

There were still the two bloody throwing knifes on the upstairs's floor, and if Oliver was to look bit better at the guy, he would be able to see two cuts on his right shoulder, the same side where he was holding the combat knife. 

The Attacker suddenly charged at Jenna, and what followed was a short, hard to follow knife fight, that ended to them both being disarmed. "They weren't lying when they said you would put up a fight." Jenna didn't reply, and instead took offensive in form of hits and kicks, but she soon realized it to be a mistake, as the guy had no trouble blocking and dodging her attacks, and soon she found her leg locked in his grip.

Oliver ran upstairs and grabbed the two knives from upstairs, and crept back down. The guy's back was facing him, so maybe he could sneak up on him?

He slunk toward the man, holding up the knife, ready to stab him in the arm holding Jenna's leg.

The man either didn't notice or didn't care about Oliver when he sneaked up on him, but unfortunately Oliver wasn't quick enough to stop Jenna from getting hurt, as before he could get close enough to strike, the attacker had twisted and bent Jenna's leg in ways human leg wasn't meant to endure, causing her to let out a short cry of pain that sounded something between human scream and animal's roar. If Oliver was to stab the man to the arm, he would let Jenna's leg go, causing her to fall over, and turn around and try to strike Oliver with what would be very hard hit if it made contact.

Upon Jenna's cry of pain, Oliver acted on instinct. He drove the knife into the man's arm, stabbing it until he let her go.

He didn't care if he got hurt, she didn't deserve to have this happen to her.

The guy struct Oliver with his non-stabbed hand, it was easily hard enough hit to hit him to the ground, but before the attacker had time to do anything else, he suddenly but his hand on his neck and turned around, there was a throwing knife sticking out just beyond the reach of his hand, and when he turned, another flew right to his throat, which had rather dire consequence for the guy. Jenna smirked and spoke with hostile tone that was bit broken by pain "Never turn your back to your enemy, especially in your human form." she watched as the Viper collapsed to the ground "The biggest weakness of a Talon-scum....pride...and my luck apparently....as that throw was pure luck...this is the second time I have been lucky." she then looked at Oliver "Thanks. my story would have ended there if you didn't step in, are you okay?"

Oliver was knocked to the ground, feeling his face where he was hit. It stung, but it felt non-fatal.

He watched as the Viper collapsed, and nodded at Jenna. "That hurt a bit, but I'm alright. Are you?"

Jenna tried to get up but collapsed back down "Yeah, just damaged bones and some ruptures, should heal in few days." "But I need to splint my leg so I can walk, so would you be so kind and bring me something solid and straight and something to attach it on my leg with?" she moved herself next to the body of the Viper and started feeling around it, also grabbing her knifes and gleaning them against the Viper's suit while at it "And please hurry, we don't have much time, Viper's are required to report in regularly, and because he can't do that being dead, they will send someone to check on him." "And after that start packing up right away, take essentials like food, water, medicine, first aid, and such, and only then see if you can take things like extra clothes or anything with sentimental value. Don't take anything that can be traced like phones bank cards computers and such, but other than that you can take whatever you can carry."

Oliver was fearing this. He had to leave his life behind and go on the run with Jenna. But, it was for her sake, so he obeyed. He grabbed a pole from another room and gave it to her to splint her leg with.

He went upstairs and started packing his things. He didn't know how he was going to get by with no money and no phone, but if that was what it took.

He packed the essentials, and some extra clothes like she asked.

Jenna took the pole and since Oliver had forgotten the something to attach it with, she cut of parts of the Viper's suit to use it, she then got up and as fast as one can with one leg, she started moving around, collecting her knifes and the combat knife that had been on the Viper, before heading to upstairs so she could take her stuff and put some clothes on. "You know you don't need to do this right?, this is the last chance where you can back out and forget me, I can make it look like you had nothing to do with this." she said when she was closer to Oliver "But if you choose to come with me, you're in this for rest of your life."

Oliver halted and looked down at the floor, thinking about this. He could just stay, return to his safe, mundane life and forget all this ever happened. But that would mean leaving Jenna alone to fend for herself.

"If I didn't help you just now," he said, looking at her, "who knows what would have happened. I couldn't let you face that again on your own."

"If that's your choice I won't stop you." Jenna said putting her hand on Oliver's shoulder "But I won't lie to you, this life is hell, there is no sunshine or rainbows on this road." she then let go of his shoulder, moved, and started putting her clothes on and packing her backpack.

Oliver looked at Jenna, then back at the floor. He thought about his life so far. A boring job, no friends to miss him, and his parents wouldn't know if he went on the run.

"Eh, it's not like I have much here anyway," he decided. "Well, except you since you're still here."

"Aright, that's decided then." Jenna simply stated, the situation required her to ignore the praise in Oliver's response "Now, remember when i asked you if you know ways out of the city or places with cars?" "Now would be the time to tell what you know."

Oliver nodded, getting his bags ready. "There are a few small roads out of the city, and there's a car place near here. If those are any help, we can use them maybe?"

He bit his lip. He wasn't used to this kind of situation, not at all.

"The car place is our first stop, so lead the way, and remember that we need stay hidden." Jenna said, putting her backpack on her back, she then spoke again, this time sounding almost embarrassed "And you may need to help me a bit, I can walk relatively well, but it's rather slow, so if you'd help me support my weight we'd be able to move lot faster."

Oliver pulled on a hoodie, putting the hood over his head. He looked to Jenna and nodded, smiling. "No problem, I'll help you along."

He looked at her hand, hesitating from slight embarrassment for a moment before taking it in his.

Jenna took support from Oliver and started jumping forward with her healthy leg after putting on a black cap to help her hiding her face. The stairs down was bit of a challenge, but other than that she was capable of moving about the speed of half-running.
